(5 star for location if you are needing to do any business at Immigration. If you are planning to come to Bangkok for tourist activities wouldn't recommend staying this far out of the city)
Second time I have stayed here at this Centara. Whenever my wife and I have to make our annual trip to Immigration in Bangkok we have stayed here. Just a short walk away from Immigration so you can show up in the early morning to receive a low queue number.
Other than being close to the Immigration they have a great breakfast, lunch buffet and A La Carte options for food. As well it is a quick grab away from Charn at the Avenue which has a lot of food options and The M Lifestyle Mall.
Staff is always great there! This past time the room cleaners on our floor did an exceptional job, going over the top each day when they didn't need to. Was able to meet one of them Naw. Thank you for your hard work Naw and was a blessing to meet you. Everyday Naw was asking if we had any trash to be taken out, asking if we needed extra waters and cleaning up our room when all we requested was for our sheets to be changed on one of our beds (due to a accident from our baby)
Couldn't recommend this place enough and excited to stay here again and other future...
Read moreWe have a very traumatic experience at the Centra by Centara. Someone was trying to open our connecting door late at night not just once but twice! We alerted the concierge and waited for them to call us back. We waited long but no call. It was my husband who called. We were just told that the occupant next door was trying to open our side of the door. It was so traumatic that we decided to leave and transfer hotels the following day. We then asked if 1. They can at the very least do a transfer for us to the hotel we will be transferring— answer was a big no 2. We asked if we can at least have someone help bring our luggage down, again answer was no 3. We asked if we could at least borrow a trolley, answer was as expected…NO.
Hotels are windows to the soul of one’s country. We were so traumatized by the incident and the lack of concern of the staff. What a big disappointment! My daughter is up to now still so traumatized Centra by Centara if you...
Read moreUnless you are familiar with it's location, it is very likely you would miss it as the name displayed on front is not clearly visible from the road. Staff are extremely friendly and polite. Rooms are comfortable but air-conditioning blower sound is a bit loud, and room door needs maintenance. Breakfast was not bad, with a selection of a wide range of Thai, Asian, and some international dishes, however, I couldn't find any cheese to go with the bread. The hotel has a small counter by the main entrance that offers few pastries, drinks and the sort, but during my stay for one day, hotel receptionists had to serve me twice as no staff was manning the counter. It is friendly atmosphere and somehow looks like it had frozen in time for a long period with out of date designs and furniture. It is suitable for business meetings and I wouldn't recommend...
