Mida Hotel Don Mueang Airport — Hotel in Thung Song Hong Subdistrict

Me and my wife have been staying now for 14 days and will stay 1 more week in room 502. This is not just an overnight stay hotel and I will tell you why.||The staff is very helpful, security also and they are all very friendly. The room are big and wifi excellent.||The pool is good and you have sunshine from 8 am to 1 pm. If you want to drink or eat something then just lift the telephone and make your order. If you need som exercise there is a room 10 meter from the pool were you can run or lift weights.||Breakfst is a buffet if they have more than 20 guests or else you can order from the meny. It all taste great but be aware that the buffet also have som spicy food.||Cleaning staff are doing everything to keep your room cleaned and always give you||a couple of water bottles every day.||Its a 2 min walk to 7/11 and a big food market.||If you walk out from the hotel to the left and keep walking straight ahead for 7-8 mins, cross a small bridge in to the wat Laksi area, go through and then right you will immediately on the left side find Skytrain and now you can easily travel where ever you want in Bangkok. Close to this skytrain is also a BIG shopping area that have everything you need.||Skytrain is combined with MRT subway and just get the map and its easy to travel.||||If you go by taxi try to take a taxi that say Taximeter and Gps, then they can always find Mida hotel don...

I stayed at the Mida Hotel Don Mueang Airport for one night in October 2019.||I was flying out of Don Mueang the next day, so I just needed a place close to the airport.||I must say that I was positively surprised by the overall quality of the hotel.||The staff was friendly, not all spoke English, but even so, they were smiling and eager to help with everything.||The room was clean and modern, and had the basic amenities available, refrigerator, coffee, tea etc. I went for the buffet the following day at lunch time, and there was a big selection of delicious dishes, fruit, salad and ice cream. Price was 450 baht (approx 15 USD) but absolutely worth it.||The hotel also has a really nice pool area with cushions and sunbathing chairs. Furthermore it has a small gym as well.||Location is obviously not very central, as the hotel is meant for people in and out of Don Mueang airport, but still has a food market, some bars and a 7/11 next to the hotel.||I paid around 1500 baht (50 USD) for one night in a double room.||All in all a nice experience, good service and facilities, and I would absolutely stay there again should I travel through Don Mueang...

This is far NOT a four stars hotel.Bad smell at the corridors and at the room, humidity and very worm when you arrive.The lighting is very poor, dark rooms and corridors, it is good why you don’t see everything.they give you one key for two people and the air condition what is very loud and not effective is working with this one key, when you go out for a lunch it is very hot and humid with bad smell.. Air condition is very loud and strong but not effective. The rooms are not very clean, the beds are not good.Internet is very poor at 4th floor , they (2025 at this age ) long passwords and codes… we bought eSIM and it was working.I have seen some pictures here but our room was not clean old,specially when you have natural lighting and a lot of reparations needed. The restaurant was not special, it was not bad,but very expensive for this level,and for thai prices. The price is without tax and service fees, so and the end it is much more expensive.For us the transport was excellent and the driver was excellent too.
