Rimklong Boutique Hotel is a true hidden gem. Tucked away in the old town, this hotel offers a cozy and charming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. One of the first things you'll notice is how impeccably clean everything is. The attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness is truly commendable and adds to the overall comfort of your stay. The hotel also boasts a lovely coffee shop where you can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or tea. It's the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the town. Speaking of exploring, Rimklong Boutique Hotel's location is ideal for discovering the old town. Restaurants, bars, and the Saturday walking street are all within walking distance, making it easy to immerse yourself in the local culture and cuisine. For those arriving by car, the hotel offers private parking, which is a huge plus in this area. The staff and owner of Rimklong Boutique Hotel are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They go out of their way to ensure that your stay is memorable and enjoyable. I highly recommend rooms 21 or 22, which feature a beautiful little garden that is covered in case of rain. It's a peaceful oasis where you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of your surroundings. Overall, Rimklong Boutique Hotel is a fantastic choice for your...

No pool. No breakfast. And yet 5 stars? How come? Location is great - many places are in walking distance, including the famous Trat market. Talking about markets - every Saturday, a night market takes place right in front of the hotel. The rooms are extremely clean, very spacious and fairly quiet, although noise-sensitive guests like myself are better off with ear plugs. The bed is 6 foot wide and sports a very comfortable mattress. The interior is nicely decorated, as you would expect from a boutique hotel. You can get an excellent coffee from an Italian coffee maker, classic style. We ordered a delicious iced caffe latte, and surprisingly, it came for free as our welcome drink. By far the best, however, is Tuu, the hotel owner. He truly rips himself apart to serve you with tons of advice and tips about where-to-go‘s. He organized a scooter for 3 days at 300 THB (yepp, for all three days). He managed the transport to and from the hotel, and he is a great guy to having a chat with. Plus, he was available all time, e.g. via WhatsApp. All in all, I can‘t think of anything I missed or find displeasing, but I went away with one of the finest experiences you can...

Where to start, we travel independently and contacted Tuu for accommodation and transportation to from Bangkok and the speed boats to Koh Mak island plus transfers. ||All those arrangements went like clockwork with a very smart car and responsible driver. Tuu also phoned us in the UK to make sure all the details were correct which we appreciated.||His hotel really is immaculate and spotless. I have been to so many hotels described as spotless only to see black around the base of a shower. You will not see anything like that here. ||Our room was airy and bright, immaculately clean, the shower has lovely tiles and well maintained. The bed and bedding clearly good quality with Netflix tv as well. Tuu directed us to a great restaurant though he warned us it’s not attractive but good food, he was right on both counts. ||We cannot thank Tuu enough for all the arrangements which ran perfectly and a beautiful room as a peaceful haven, a...

No pool. No breakfast. And yet 5 stars? How come? Location is great - many places are in walking distance, including the famous Trat market. Talking about markets - every Saturday, a night market takes place right in front of the hotel. The rooms are *extremely* clean, very spacious and fairly quiet, although noise-sensitive guests like myself are better off with ear plugs. The bed is 6 foot wide and sports a very comfortable mattress. The interior is nicely decorated, as you would expect from a boutique hotel. Perfect for a short stay during transit to the islands. Owner Tuu is helpful and friendly, staying off site next door. He will tell you where to eat and visit during your stay. Please call his mobile phone number (‭+66 81-861-7181‬ ) shown on the entrance if he’s home having dinner which is just behind the building. Also, please call him in advance to arrange Trat airport pick up to the hotel for a good price of ฿250 per person instead of paying ฿1000 per person at the airport. There’s no other choice of transportation getting out of the airport. No Uber or Grab in Trat. The guesthouse is quite new and very well maintained. The bed is comfortable. Free WiFi and smoker friendly with outdoor seating area. I enjoyed my stay here.

Stopped for a night on my way to Ko Chang. Located in charming downtown area in Trat, this is a newly renovated 5 room boutique hotel owned and operated by a friendliest and mild mannered gentleman. First of all, City of Trat deserves a revisit for few days of exploring as it seems to be a old quint city contrast to huge popular destination like Pattaya, Bangkok, etc. Hotel is no frill basic stay. For its room rate you get your money’s worth from location, clean room, and hospitality from caring owner. Very close to huge morning wet market selling local seafood, meat, produce and other culinary items. Recommend highly.
