We spent 3 wonderful nights in this beautifully decorated house. The guest house has 4 rooms in name of different flowers which all are trendy, classic and comfortable. We stay at the the double room of Lys which can accommodate 3 persons at most as it has a extra single bed at the corner.||It has a swimming pool in the courtyard. Besides swimming, you can also either take a sun bath or just lay-back on the chairs, doing nothing. ||||The b&b is situated 6km away from Midoun but we had no problem to see around. The first day, the hospitable Carole lent us 2 bikes to get to Midoun. The second day, she assisted us renting a scooter to go along the scenic coast, and go through the inland field to sightsee many worthy-seeing spots. if neither bike nor scooter is suitable for, taxi is cheap and plentiful.||||We are used to get up early so Carole got up earlier than us so that we can have our breakfast at 7:30 every morning and she always accompanied us to have breakfast. The breakfast is wonderful, baked baguette, crepe, juice, yougurt, fruit, etc. She treated us like families, not a guest.||||It was the first accommodation after we ended our stunning and unforgetable but exhausting desert trip. At this b&b, we were fully relaxed and gain our energy back. Just finished our Tunisian trip one week ago but i can't wait for revisiting this b&b and the country. Just don't miss it when you...
Read moreI booked this place through airbnb. The reason why it has a high score is that the owner changed recently. In the beginning it was nice. Then Mikela started behaving in a really rude way and inventing new rules that were not mentioned on the page. (I see that some people had the same experience with her) don't swim holding a beer in the swimming pool which we did. But then she yelled at us for holding our beers next to the pool, saying that we will push each other with the beer there. FYI we are a group of adults not some teenagers. After that she said you know what? No swimming after 10pm We paid the price of cleaning service, we are 11 people, she said sorry we don't do dishes. So keep this in mind for those who think they're gonna relax. we had a misunderstanding and I told her this is not mentioned in the airbnb rules. She said I'm gonna call the police and you'll see. (Translation: you are couples of non married people, calling the police in this country will cause you a lot of trouble.) One last point. If you book through airbnb, she will make you pay the taxes that SHE has to pay to airbnb. For me it was 100€ extra. Be careful.
I recommend this place only for families. Even though I see that the other person who complained here had kids. Michela is a very rude and...
Read moreSince I came down to the small international airport late afternoon, the lovely tranquility surrounds the beautiful desert. I arrived at the place (Menzel Caja) and the beautiful half age lady (madam Josee) greeted me warmly with kindness flowing of her three nice dogs. the embarrassment was clearly shown on her face more than usual for a french lady ! lately I knew that I was the first an arab man she ever met loved dogs. from this point we start a very nice conversation about lot of thing. The place is quiet and beautiful, room was clean & peaceful a desert countryside with French-Mediterranean lady touches. (By the way, who received me is not the owner of the house, but her friend who takes care of the house in the absence of Mrs. Carroll which was in short trip home), Madam. Josee was very kind & helpful for bringing in the proper taxi cab driver that served as a tour guide on the island during my short stay. because I was alone, she didn't mind directing the nice local housekeeper (mehrizia) to prepare some local meals that were not agreed upon since welcoming arrived ! I left the place & I hope to return again because of the comfortable atmosphere & the funny...
