I recently stayed at a hotel that purported to cater exclusively to French guests, and unfortunately, they weren't kidding. Despite claiming to be an international establishment, the lack of consideration for non-French guests was painfully evident throughout my stay. Firstly, the absence of any activities or amenities for non-French speakers was glaring. From the staff's limited English proficiency to the exclusively French signage and kids club, it felt like outsiders were an afterthought at best. The promise of multiple pools was a blatant misrepresentation, with only one of the three pools open and none offering a baby area, which was a significant disappointment for families like mine. Meal times were a gamble, with half the advertised options often unavailable, leaving many guests, including myself, feeling unsatisfied and hungry. Plus, the lack of coffee cups after breakfast was an inconvenience that shouldn't be overlooked. There is only one main restaurant open and no beach bars! Their offer is very misleading. Some are only open in certain times if the year! The in-room bar was disappointingly sparse, stocked only with water and two glasses — no information was provided on where to replenish the water, forcing us to trek to the restaurant every time we needed a refill. The beach was far from the idyllic paradise I expected, with rocky terrain and algae-ridden shores making swimming a less-than-pleasant experience. The Wi-Fi service was as unreliable as it gets, with the signal disappearing frequently, which only added to the frustration of being unable to access information or connect with others in a language I understood. Housekeeping services were infrequent and inconsistent, with our room being cleaned only twice during a five-day stay, which is far below the standard expected at any hotel. To make matters worse, the air conditioning unit in our room looked dangerously neglected, caked with black grime, making us hesitant to even use it for fear of health risks. To add insult to injury, the hotel's money-back policy for pool towels felt more like a nickel-and-dime tactic than a genuine gesture of hospitality. And let's not forget the dubious "guided trip" I shelled out £100 euros for, only to be chauffeured by a taxi driver with minimal English skills and slapped with additional entrance fees. But perhaps the most disheartening aspect was the blatant favoritism shown towards French guests, with my family being blatantly ignored upon arrival while French arrivals were promptly attended to, leaving my son feeling upset and unwelcome. Not to mention different colours of the wristbands for French and the rest of the guests. In conclusion, if you're not fluent in French and don't want to feel like a second-class guest, steer clear of this so-called "international" hotel. It's clear they prioritize French clientele above all else, leaving non-French guests feeling unwelcome and undervalued.

This hotel has decent and tasty food, with clean facilities, great animation team, especially if you’re french speaker, a variety of facilities for sports, games and shows! The mini golf courses are in very good shape, just the way you get the clubs is annoying requiring a warranty of 20 dinars (not everybody goes to the beach with cash in his pocket ) The darts are organized very well with umbrellas on top of players, who are seated around and there is a drummer that plays a great rhythm for every player who lives the game and also for the winner at the end 👏 The indoor swimming pool is a plus as the water is heated, compared with the other pools outside, where the water is pretty cold and none of those has heated water, and even the sea water is warmer! Reservation is required for the beach restaurant, that serves lunch, and Bonsai restaurant for dinner, which is easy to get. They offer bottles of plain and carbonated water as well as WHOLE BOTTLES of 3 Kinds of WINE! The standard room had a great sea view, which was unexpected. BUT there are a few back draws when it comes to other not so great matters. 1. The most annoying that I found in October are the lots and lots of flies, present all over the place that bother you constantly, so you cannot really enjoy a peaceful day without chasing them away. 2. Internet is not so great, quite absent, especially if you are at the end of the hotel or by the small beach that has a lot of dead algae, not collected in a long time, and many rocks, so you need to be prepared with some water shoes as well. Buy a SIM from airport and be safe! 3. The hotel should give a resort map to us in the first day, so you would not waste your time wondering around grounds to find places of interest, especially if you don’t speak French, and you have a hard time communicating with the staff in English. 4. Even if they call your plan an ultra all inclusive, the variety of the drinks is very little and many of them are for a expensive price( Mojito 27 TND, about $9!) 5. Since last year this four stars hotel, as those 5 stars, charge 12 TDN per day/person for the tourist fee, so prepare about $ 56 for 7 days stay, up to 10 days stay, after that no more fee! 6. Beach towels require a security deposit of 20TND/towel, cash only, that is returned to you upon departure by presenting the receipt! The issue is that you cannot leave the country with their currency in your pocket, so you may find the last moment exchange hard for small amount of dinars. I almost forgot about a small repair at balcony that I ask at the reception in the first day, but they didn’t bother to fix it. PS. Even now while writing this review I fight with the FLIES😡 and someone should spray something about these, as they are not only annoying but DIRTY! OCTOBER IS BAD TIME🥴

The best animator and dancer, aqua gym in resort is just IHEB. 😇😇 I was lucky enough to meet this animator in person, and I can honestly say he is an extraordinary person. Not only does he dance flawlessly and lead aqua gym, volleyball, and countless other activities with incredible energy, but he does it all with a genuinely positive and uplifting attitude. He is respectful, polite, empathetic, attentive to others’ needs, and has a presence that brings joy and comfort. Even on the most exhausting days, when he clearly doesn’t get the time off he deserves, he never complains and stays fully committed. Behind his smile is not just a performer, but a person who truly loves what he does and puts heart into every single moment. It’s rare to meet someone like this — and I feel lucky that I did. I sincerely hope the management team sees what we all see: a true professional who deserves recognition, support, and encouragement. I’ve attached a video that says more than words ever could. Thank you for your amazing energy!

I have been travelling to this Hotel for many years and would like to set a few things straight regarding a previous review.|It is only because of the Staff of the Hotel and the kindness and consideration they show that I choose to keep returning here.|The Reception team are very accommodating and will do everything they can to meet your requirements.|The Restaurant Staff and Servers greet you warmly when.you enter the restaurant, the food is in plentiful supply and variety is excellent, anyone with any food allergies or special requirements only needs to speak to the executive Chef and they will provide all you need, right down to individual meals.|The housekeeping is very very good, the rooms are kept clean and fresh and communal areas are the same, they really do work very hard.|The staff in the Bar areas are pleasant, polite, hardworking and soon work hard to remember your order and will prepare your drinks to your requirements. Always a lovely smile from them all.|Now onto the cream of the Hotel...ANIMATION TEAM, both the red and white of Fram and the flouro of the Hotel.|Now to clear some things up....|Chef Mohamed runs a very tight ship with his team and is nearly always available to speak to in the Hotel, he ensures that any problems are dealt with quickly and efficiently and although you may not notice him around the Hotel, he is not always poolside but rather in his office inside the Hotel, and if he is outside and needed will drive to the Hotel directly.|The head of the miniclub - Fatima - is a woman with a very special heart for children and animals alike, the safety and happiness of any child is always a priority and Fatima really is a kind, caring person and as for her demanding sales of t-shirts??? NO NO NO, after minidisco in the evening any t- shirts bought are presented to the guest on the stage and an announcement given advising people that should they wish to buy one of them, they need to go to see Fatima in miniclub and the miniclub times given. Fatima does not have anytime to parade around trying to force sell anything, if anytime Fatima needs to walk the dogs of the very nice Owner of the Hotel, then any child is left in the very capable hands of Ines and another member of the team in miniclub, and ALL CHILDREN ARE WELCOME ALWAYS.|Mohamed (HAMA) is a very special young man and always includes everyone with a cheery smile and a friendly word, Mohamed is the young man who speaks on the microphone advising of the show and any other events available, he sometimes speaks a little fast but does his very best to use many languages, thus, making ALL nationalities feel welcome and part of the fun. And as for the chant "Left...right...left...right" this has been done for many years and is a way of involving everybody and getting some energy going for the coming show/activity. It really does work for those who wish to partake. |I can say, truthfully, very truthfully, that the only time I have EVER seen a member of the team smoke was in their own free time - which they do not have a lot of, I have NEVER seen or known anyone to smoke with or in front of a guest. |These guys from the team work very, very hard and walk round the Hotel interacting with the guests - BOTH YOUNG AND OLD - and it really does bring a smile to the majority of the guests, everyone is included, regardless of gender, race, religion or nationality.|This is a wonderful Hotel with so many positives, and very hard working staff from the Director to the housekeeping to gardening and maintenance, a very very special group of people. |Please do not be misled by some other reviews, a fantastic holiday is guaranteed, whether you want to join in or you don't, there is never any pressure, for joining in or for sales.|I am ENGLISH and to say no one speaks English is ridiculous and wrong, everyone tries very hard with ALL languages, so please do not be put off. And a smile is a Universal language.|A fantastic, fun time to be had by all, always.|AND I ALWAYS FIND IT IS SO MUCH EASIER TO SORT ANY PROBLEMS OUT WHILE I AM THERE AND THE PEOPLE HAVE THE TIME TO CHANGE ANYTHING YOU DONT LIKE AND THE CHANCE TO FULFILL YOUR NEEDS AND WANTS.|A QUICK VISIT TO THE LOVELY RECEPTION TEAM AND YOU WILL BE POINTED IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.|BELIEVE ME, THE PRIORITY HERE IS THE GUEST AND ENSURING THEY HAVE A...

Khayam Garden Hotel is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed at. What makes it truly special is not just the place itself, but the people. Here you don’t just receive a service—you build friendships with everyone, from the lifeguards to the waiters and even the cooks. Everything about this hotel felt unique, and I’m sure I’ll come back next year just to see these wonderful people again.

I stayed for two weeks, and I can honestly say it was the best vacation of my life.

Rooms The rooms are spotless. Everyone I spoke with during my stay said the same thing: this is one of the cleanest hotels in Tunisia. There’s no smell of old furniture or dust—just fresh, clean air. The housekeeping staff are incredible; they even clean details like the upper frame of the doors. As for comfort, the rooms have two double beds with very comfortable mattresses. I slept perfectly every night. The only small issue is that there was just one charger socket next to the bed, so if you need more, bring an extension cable. For me, it was fine.

Staff & Service A special thanks goes to my friend Wahid, the night manager. He is extremely professional, helpful, and kind. For us, he was more than a manager—he was a true friend. No matter the time, even at 3:00 AM, he was always ready to help with any request. Wahid, you are the best!

Animation Team The animation team is amazing—always friendly, full of energy, and they really added so much joy to our holiday. Personally, I loved everything they did. My wife would have preferred more of a nightclub-style atmosphere during the dance moments, but for me it was perfect.

Lifeguards Safety is well taken care of here. Dali, the lifeguard, is the most dedicated one I’ve ever seen. He never took his eyes off the sea and always made sure everyone was safe. Great job, Dali!

Food & Restaurants The food was exceptional. Every day there was something new to try, and even after two weeks, I never got bored. If you’re not a fan of Tunisian food, don’t worry—there’s plenty of European food too. But I highly recommend trying the Tunisian dishes—they’re incredibly tasty. The waiters are all very professional, always smiling, and the hospitality in this hotel is truly on another level.

Tips for Future Guests Towels – You can rent towels from reception for 20 DNT each. You’ll receive a card, and you can exchange your towel up to three times a day. At the end of your stay, return the card with the receipt to get your money back. Important: don’t lose the card or receipt, as this works like a deposit. Tourist Tax – Like in all hotels, you’ll have to pay a tourist tax of 25€ per person for one week. Special Restaurants – You have two lunches included at Carissa restaurant—don’t miss the beef, it’s excellent. You also get one more lunch at Bonsai restaurant, which is a bit more fancy and offers delicious food. Reservations are required. Explore the City – Go outside the hotel and visit Souk Nabeul (the local bazaar). It’s beautiful and a great way to meet local Tunisian people. Desserts – Don’t skip the sweets at the restaurant! If you’re lucky, you’ll find lava cakes—they’re amazing. Beach – There are some rocks in the sea, but don’t worry. There’s a clear path where you only have to cross one small rock, and after that it’s all sandy. Tips – Staff here don’t earn big salaries, so if you enjoyed the service, leave a small tip. It’s not mandatory, but always appreciated.

Final Thoughts I want to thank Christian Tour for organizing the best vacation of my life. All their recommendations were true, and I fully recommend traveling with them. We also had a very pleasant flight with Anima Wings. Finally, a big shout-out to Damian and Soufien, our tour guide. He’s a very knowledgeable man, full of beautiful stories from his travels, and you can learn so much from him. Big shout-out to Gasan the waitress here, he is hard working guy and always taking care of us like a father, much love to you guys.

Well after a wait of nine years, choosing to go back to a hotel with so many good memories and hoping expectations haven't slipped over them years we have just arrived back from two fantastic weeks. In what has been an unprecedented previous two years we took that leap of faith and booked this hotel with Love holidays after teletext holidays went bust. I have to say we were unsure at first but the company kept us informed every step of the way with its own App and regular updates. I must say I will be booking with them on a regular basis as we were very impressed with the service. Now on arrival at the Hotel we were greeted with a porter who took our cases and on entering the hotel we were given refreshments. The receptionist asked if we had stayed before and we excitedly said yes and told them when and what it was like before. We were upgraded to a two bedroom family suite with pool, sea and garden views room 2106. The porter took us to our room and gave a precise explanation of air-conditioning settings, safe and doors. We was so pleased with the suite and it was spacious throughout and above all clean. We went down to the restaurant and three waiters recognised us from last time. We was shown to our table and trust me now the food was good and plentiful throughout our stay. Travelling with a nine year old who is fussy about eating was a concern but I can assure you every waiter, cook and chef looked after him superbly. A testament to a fantastic hotel with everything and everyone catered for. We were in for some memorable moments and none more than in our opinion the best animation team we have ever had the pleasure of. These people go above and beyond to make your holiday and they certainly achieved that. These people perform day in day out to sketches, dances and all different sports to the highest level of perfection. Blacky (my son my son) absolutely outstanding even after nine years my bro you perform effortlessly. Fatima, thank you for looking after Noah as a baby in 2013 and a nine year old, he will always remember you. Mo Mo (ha ha ha ha) my petanque partner you are a kind person with a heart of gold. Shrek excellent DJing and enjoyed our chats. Casper absolutely outstanding a true friend. Rio you are a gentleman in everyway possible, Ziko always follow your dreams, Titou thank you for your time, Simba you was good, Mado I truly enjoyed our chats and not forgetting Kimo or should I say Es-Kimo you made time for us and above all we had a laugh thankyou all from the bottom of our hearts ❤  you are the best of the best. Now there were two other people who were part of FRAM Yanis and Sadok who also made our holiday with plenty of laughter and chatting you two are fantastic 👏  Sadok I had a great holiday and I can honestly say thank you for everything the magic you perform was absolutely amazing. Our suite was cleaned daily and the cleaning was to the highest quality. From the singing cleaners down at the pool to the lifeguards (especially John Lennon) and the garden maintenance you do a superb job. To our waiter Sami thank you for your humour and quality of service by the pool. The restaurant staff were truly amazing with their dedication to detail and perfection.

The entertainment programme was superb throughout the holiday. Animation team were just fantastic.

The water slides were great as were the pools. The beach was clean with white powder sand. The volleyball, Archery, football and tennis courts were to the highest specification possible. The petanque courts were really good standard and the mini golf was superb on AstroTurf.  The indoor poool was a quiet place to be with the gym by its side along with the spa, sauna and hamman. Le Bonsai restaurant was quiet throughout but it was the beginning of their summer. Coco beach is payable for all inclusive guests if you want some fine dining. We will be coming back as soon as we can and really hope that we see all of our friends from Alec,...
