Driving from Ksar Ghilane we got caught in a sand storm - at night! - an visibility was so poor that we had to stop beforeour final destination. We called Leila and Houcine late a night to enquire if they had a bed for us and showed up 20 minutes later at their doorstep. They were two absolutely lovely people who welcomed us nicely. The house is extremely well kept, clean and well decorated, the showed was hot and the beds were very comfortable. It felt like home. Leila prepared a gorgeous home-made breakfast (that we could hardly finish!) early the next day and Houcine showed us their garden, pomegranate tree, olive tree and how they were preserving the dates for the season to come. We wished we could stay...

We had two night stay with my nephew in Medenine in "La Cuesta " Madam Leila and her husband in their lovely home. This home brings an incredible feeling, harmony and peace. Comfort and attention. Our best overnight stays in Tunisia. We felt like at home. Everything about the stay was wonderful, the breakfast in the morning was delicious and nutritious. Madam Leyla helped us on a wonderful one-day tour around the Dahar - Tatooine and Medenine area , through Ksars , old Douriet and Chenini and showed us sights that leave us an unforgettable memory.
