I recently stayed at The Penthouse Suites Hotel in Tunis, and it was an experience that truly stood out. Located conveniently near both Belvedere Parc and Habib Bourguiba Avenue, the hotel offers the perfect blend of luxury and comfort, making it an ideal base for exploring Tunis. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the serene and welcoming atmosphere, complemented by the hotel's unique features like an outdoor pool and a skating rink.
The suite I stayed in was spectacular, offering spacious comfort, modern amenities, and all the conveniences you could ask for, including a well-equipped kitchen. It was impeccably clean and maintained, creating a pristine and inviting environment for my entire stay. The variety at breakfast was remarkable, catering to a wide range of tastes with high-quality food and exceptional service that made each morning a delightful experience.
What truly made my stay memorable, however, was the staff's dedication to guest satisfaction. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail in every interaction—from the front desk to the dining area—were exemplary. It's this level of service that elevates The Penthouse Suites Hotel above others, making it not just a place to stay, but a place to look forward to returning to.
In summary, The Penthouse Suites Hotel is more than just a hotel; it's a testament to Tunisian hospitality, offering a luxurious yet cozy retreat for anyone visiting the capital. Whether you're in Tunis for business or leisure, this hotel promises a stay that combines the best of both worlds: refinement and comfort. A definite recommendation for anyone planning a...
Read moreI stayed here for one night in August and got a nice welcome from Ismail at the front desk. I negotiated an upgrade with his boss on the phone who allowed it as I have Genius status on Booking. I visited a standard room which was quite nice and spacious (34m2) then went to my 2 room suite with 2 bedrooms, a living room, a big bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and huge kitchen plus an unfurnished terrace.||||There were two single beds in one bedroom and a double bed in the other one, both with TV screens on the wall. There were comfortable couches and a large screen TV in the living room.||||There was a washing machine in the kitchen which could be useful for long stays but there were practically no utensils or dishes.||||I had a look at the swimming pool which wasn't suitable for swimming lengths as it wasn't very big and the shallow end was roped off for children.||||I had completely forgotten that breakfast was included in the price so later on I ordered some strawberry juice (no oranges in Tunisia in the summer!), a cheese omelette and a plate of fruit from room service which arrived quickly.||||I went to take a shower in the fancy jacuzzi bathtub. There were no shower caps in the bathroom and housekeeping didn't have any either but the worst thing was that there was no hot water.||||A friendly lady came over to say goodbye to me as I left which was nice but I wouldn't stay here again unless I was sure they...
Read moreThis hotel was very disappointing & im not quite sure where the 5 stars are from. Firstly the cleanliness of the rooms is subpar, it is clear that everything is only cleaned from the surface. I found the hotel rooms to be under-equipped - we stayed in an apartment with a kitchen which had no dishes - & when I requested some the staff were rude & reluctant saying ‘we’d prefer you don’t even use the kitchen’. There is also a washing machine that ended up ruining our clothes as it was rusty. Moreover, the closets in the room were filled with furniture not giving me enough space to place my clothes. Finally one of the rooms & the kitchen ACs weren’t working, I would expect hotel staff to double check the quality of the rooms they’re providing before checking people in! Additionally, out of all the hotels I have visited around the world this is the first one that doesn’t supply an iron - when I asked for one the staff continued to be rude. As for the breakfast included, there was not much to offer and when one dish empties they don’t quickly replace as they should do in a buffet. They cook the pancakes & eggs on one girdle and the pancake I ordered came raw in the inside.
Generally speaking I wouldn’t recommend this hotel as it is a waste of your money and its stars should be...
