First of all, I would like to say that my opinion is based solely on facts observed during my daily stay at the hotel and what it has to offer. I am not writing this based on excessive expectations. Although I am writing as an individual, this review concerns the stay of two adults in a double room. ||It is worth noting that the stay at this hotel was booked through the travel agency. A 7-day stay near the end of the season, including flights and transfers, was priced at 1200 euros. ||Hotel staff - the first thing you encounter, rather friendly, but you can see that they don't want to spend time there. They don't speak English, they will push Russian or another language they think they know (but in fact they don't). Lack of English skills when working in a hotel - the biggest red flag and a total low point. Also, when we checked in, there was a situation where the receptionist yelled at the porter, which is simply unacceptable. We also noticed that hotel employees often perform different roles. Lifeguard during the day, restaurant cleaner in the evening. It is clear that cost-cutting measures are being implemented at every turn. Personally, I think that the staff did not like me because I tried to speak English instead of Russian, for example. I wouldn't say that the fault lies with the staff, but rather with the director/manager, whom I had the opportunity to see walking around the hotel occasionally. I think he doesn't give a damn about any standards, and I'll explain why.||Although the hotel has a 5-star rating, we couldn't feel it - it has definitely seen better days. The furniture in the reception, lobby, bars, restaurant, and rooms is in poor condition. The armchairs in the lobby are permanently dirty, and the tables are covered with drink and food stains. The walls are cracked and in need of renovation or demolition. The beds are uncomfortable, with springs poking through the mattresses. Other furniture is battered and old. In the bathroom, we had a yellow telephone that used to be white - I think this will help someone estimate how old the furniture is. We got a room with one double bed and one single bed, the single bed smelled of urine, and the pillow smelled the worst (which is why we gave it to room service immediately after checking in). The room also had a mysterious storage compartment with fuses, a photo of which I will attach to this review. The balcony door wouldn't close because it was broken (the door frame was crooked). You're surrounded by junk that's about to collapse, literally.||The hotel is quite large, but in many places there is literally nothing, just a wide corridor straight out of your nightmares. You could say that the hotel is decorated, but for one simple reason - the lack of taste makes it look awkward (especially when you see A4 sheets with SPA offers or paintings by a 7-year-old). In addition, the staff doesn't care about keeping the hotel in good condition. One day, one of the guests spilled beer in the elevator - it wasn't cleaned up for the next 3 days. A piece of cucumber and a straw spent almost a week in the elevator - the best part is that the manager/director also used this elevator, but apparently didn't care.||The food is satisfactory – with ultra all-inclusive, you won't go hungry, but you will get bored. Breakfasts are largely identical, while the selection of dishes for lunch and dinner quickly becomes monotonous. The biggest problem with the food is that 95% of the items are not labeled, so you don't know what you're putting on your plate or you don't want to put it on your plate because you have no idea what you're eating. The coffee is bad. The food seems fresh, but I can't say that with a clear conscience, because on the last day one of the participants got food poisoning (this has been confirmed by a doctor).||The beach is disgusting—there's trash everywhere. The sun loungers stink (mainly because the covers aren't washed), the umbrellas can leave you with pieces of peeling paint, and the tables are dirty, of course. The pool area is even “better” - holes in the walls, mummified food lying on the ground, and wonderful umbrellas where the fabric is glued to the base with hot glue. Does anyone care? Certainly not the hotel staff. One day, as part of the fun, an inflatable water toy was pulled out, which had brown marks in places and gave off a smell that encouraged you to escape from the pool. Is it mold, rot, or decomposing rubber? I don't know and I don't want to know, and I don't recommend it to you either.||This is a personal issue, but the animator is obnoxious - I prayed he wouldn't come up to me. Good internet is an extra charge - in 2025, this is a bad joke. Beach towels are free, but washing them is not.||In summary, it wasn't worth my money, and it's certainly not worth yours. I'm not saying that the hotel doesn't have any positive features, but they are so insignificant in the overall picture that I won't even mention them. This place has a problem with maintaining the most basic standards,...
Read moreWriting this review as a British person in the hope this will help you with your holiday planning. |Firstly, this hotel is not a 5, id say its more a 3 or very low level 4*.|While the outside looks inviting, the inside is very dated. |We had a very late flight, and by the time our transfer dropped us off, it was around midnight when we checked in. We had 2 kids with us too (age 8 and 4). They offered us a visit to the dining area but other than soup, there was no food available. So we had to sleep slightly hungry and decided to hold out for breakfast.|Breakfast at this hotel is just abysmal. Pastries are limited and very stale. There's an egg station but they don't do omelettes or anything, just half cooked fried eggs. They had raw french toast and an abundance of chips... for breakfast! |They had cereals, fruits and the cold cuts/cheese but especially for our kids, we would've just been happy with some croissants. |There was an incident the first morning with the milk. It was stored in a dispenser, and id poured some into a cup for my children. I'd found they were not drinking it and they said it tasted funny. So i tried it, only to find it had soured. I'd then gone to find staff, but noone speaks english... eventually i got someone to try the milk and they agreed the milk was bad and they changed it. Thereafter i was very cautious and had to try it before giving it to my children. |A point to add, the dining area is hot and stuffy so we ended up eating outside. ||We didn't even bother with lunch in the main dining area, we ended up having all lunches at the beach/pool bar instead. This was our saving grace... they had burgers, chips, JPs and other various meats/salads etc|The soft drinks are all "real" soft drinks so we fully took advantage of the drinks throughout the stay. |They had ice cream on offer for one hour only - weird as its peak summer, so you can imagine the line.|They also did waffles in the pool/beach bar for a couple hours everyday. ||We only had one dinner in the hotel, and again it was mediocre. They had a pizza station, and a grill station but its all made and just left out in the heat. |They did do fresh pide which was okay. ||Their juice machines are awful, and were not diluted near enough to be drinkable. It was like drinking pure squash, so of course this was avoided. ||All in all, food at the hotel was a 4/10 - not good enough. ||Staff at the hotel were unapproachable, abrupt and were difficult to communicate with. It was very evident they favoured those from other countries. ||Also, they charge for wifi in your rooms, per day, per device! There was free wifi (albeit slow) in the lobby, pool and at the beach - so we made do. ||The area is sort of remote, and there's not much to do outside of the resort. There are bazaars on the left and right of the hotel but we don't care for the clothes and accessories so this didn't appeal to us. ||The rooms are spacious but the beds are hard and uncomfortable. We had a double bed, a single and a sofa bed... but the sofa bed was so bad both kids shared the single. The rooms are dated, and the linen thin and not even big enough to cover the bed. The bathroom is dark and again dated. There is a hairdryer but no iron. You have to pay to use the safe. ||There are alot of what i assume were Russian guests, European guests etc - alot don't know the concept of waiting your turn and often push in. ||Sun beds were reserved very early, if you didn't make the trip down to the beach or pool, you were left without a spot. Also, the hotel charge you for clean towels daily.... I'd never come across this before!||I would just avoid this hotel, you can get so much better. In fact, i would avoid this area of Turkey. ||We were after a "switch off from the world" type of holiday, and i guess thats exactly what we got... its just a shame the hotel and its staff were not to standard. |Happy to...
Read moreOur recent experience at this hotel, booked through Love Holidays, was deeply distressing and unacceptable from the very start.
Although our check-in was scheduled for 8th July 2025, the rooms had been paid for from the 7th, allowing what should have been ample time for cleaning and preparation. However, what we encountered upon arrival was shocking: • Both rooms were visibly dirty, clearly not cleaned prior to our arrival. • The bedding and laundry were stained and discolored, appearing almost black – completely unhygienic and unacceptable. • The toilets were filthy and in extremely poor sanitary condition, making us hesitant to even use basic facilities. • Towels smelled unpleasant, as if they hadn’t been washed properly or were left damp for too long. • Common areas, hallways, and shared spaces throughout the hotel were also poorly maintained, creating an atmosphere of neglect and lack of basic hygiene standards.
We immediately raised our concerns with the receptionist, who showed us four alternative rooms – all of which were in the same appalling condition.
When we expressed our intent to contact Love Holidays about the situation, the receptionist responded dismissively, saying:
“Then we will wait for it,” and turned away – a response that was both unprofessional and completely lacking empathy.
To make matters worse, the manager briefly appeared, communicated something to the receptionist in Turkish, and then walked away without offering any solution or support.
We were left feeling helpless, disrespected, and entirely unsupported.
To add to this, we were made to wait three hours to access our rooms. When we later asked if this lost time could be compensated at check-out, the staff began shouting at us, telling us to leave the reception area. Despite our efforts to remain calm, we were repeatedly told to “leave” and were met with raised voices and unwarranted hostility. At the time, there were no other clients at the desk, and we too were paying guests who deserved respect and assistance.
This entire experience has caused us undue stress and anxiety, and we feel that we were misled by the information provided at the time of booking. The conditions we faced fall far below any acceptable standard for accommodation.
That’s not a 5 stars hotel I can’t even say...
