Came back after an 11 day vacation at this all-inclusive hotel but I'm not as impressed as I thought I would be. I waited months just to be dissapointed. My parents woke up everyday to people slamming the elevator door, as a deep sleeper, I luckily didn't wake up to these sounds, but it must've been irritating, the walls are super thin, can't go to sleep at 10P.M (average time people like me go to sleep at) because the other hotel is blasting music. While I talk about sleep, I hated sleeping here, matresses are so uncomfortable my back was aching very often. The main pool with waterslides is okay, it is quite small. But where are the staff members to look after the waterslides? Every rule was broken on the slides, kids were climbing up them and clinging on to the sides when someone went down, parents had to tell them off but once they were reopened, they would do the same thing, I witnessed 2 kids around ages 2-3 getting hurt by these 9 year old boys (You had to be 11+ to go on the slides according to the safety rules) It's not great how kids are being unsupervised and doing dangerous stuff, do you think immature 7-10 year olds will actually pay attention to the rules? No they think that since there is no one watching the slides, they can do whatever they want to, also very unfair how you can only go on at specific times. 10am-12pm and 3pm-5pm. Personally I think they should be opened for longer. There is a little pool where the waterslides are; it is still the same pool just seperated by metal bars, they had to close it because something was in it, which was pointless as the pools are connected so you should've just kept them both open or close it all. Another complaint about service; why do the cleaning ladies still knock on the door even if the "Do not disturb" sign is up? Food Not the best. I went with family and friends and there was 8 people in total. 6 of us were throwing up and experienced unbearable stomach aches on the 2nd day! I thought I would gain weight on this vacation but actually I lost weight. However, the orange juice served in the morning was really delicious though! Fruit was really good compared to the fruit we have here, in England. Ice cream and the brownies here, 10/10. I also feel bad for the pool workers, they told us how they have to work from 9am to 12am everyday in the heat, I could never work that long serving drinks and barely earning any tips. A cool beach, but you do not want to step on the sand barefeet, thats for sure! I'm not impressed, but not completely dissapointed, Could do better. Thank you for reading this review, and you should reconsider before buying this hotel, never...
Read moreThe hotel is on very good spot close to center of Konakli, and right at the beach side. Rooms are some well renovated, some old wet with moldy bathroom (mostly the ground level rooms) , but there was no problem with changing room even in high season. Manager and reception staff was very helpfull and open to any problem. Rooms were cleaned every day and cleaning ladies are very nice and kind people. Outside area is full of blooming trees and flowers, but no leaves on sidewalks-there is always someone swiping them of. There are three pools- 140cm , 120cm with slides, and very low one with mushroom shower for smal kids. You can always find sunbed during the day, but the best places in shade are occupied from early morning with towels with nobody on them. Pool toilets were bad-needed cleaning more often. Pool showers were cool but from 3 showers was properly working one. Dining area was clean, but badly conditioned with flyes ..there is inside and outside sitting. Waitresses and other staff was really busy hard working all over the place taking care of plates and cleaning after guests, but you had to watch your plate and glass, because they took it away without you finish your stay. Food was nice , lots of salads and fruits, but cooked meals were everyday the same and there was no sign that maybe some food is hot spicy what led to throwing the whole plate. Drinking water machines are well accesible, with safe barrel water and plastic cups. Beach iťself is really clean, but sea has most days some kind of trash (depends on how rough the sea is) Sea surely is not baby friendly, its deep after few steps, really rough , but older kids can have really good fun in high waves. For some is better to wear beach shoes, but you can easily make it without them . Beach bar has great view, cold drinks, fruits , food like chicken nuggets, french fries, burgers, turkish pitas. We were satisfied with our stay even when we catched the bacteria due to really hot and moist weather (not problem of the hotel-there are signs with warning TO NOT dont drink tap water, and NOT keeping food outside of dining room etc). You have to be aware because its very common in this area. Right across the street is great clinic where we got the help we needed (full of people from different hotels) ALWAYS HAVE YOUR TRAVEL INSURANCE!!! We were happy to stay there, we had great time and we can recomend to not spoiled guests. Thanks to all hard working people there, especialy to the lady in small pool shop-she is an angel with open heart and i am going to miss her so much....
Read moreThis was a spontaneous last minute solo booking. I am happy with my experience. Truly pleased for what you get for the price especially in early May. Weather was truly summery warm, I got tanned😊 ||The room was basic but spacious and had no problem with anything and didnt really spend much time there. ||The food was enjoyable. I skipped lunch though. I had breakfast + sometimes small traditional homemade snack at the beach (lady did this traditional dough “thing” with cheese filling) + ice cream at 4pm + dinner.||For breakfast I usually had s lot of vegetables and some sort of scrambled eggs or omelette, mozarella cheese balls. You could have freshly squeezed orange use for additional 2 or 1 euro cost (i had two glasses, there was a discount one day) Dinners were nice too - mostly chicken or beef barbecue, some pasta or potatoes options. One dinner evebing it was special Turkish night cuisine and I liked kebabs and freshly made mini traditional doghnuts. ||I stayed in early may 2025, I didn’t swim in the sea although I saw some people did. I was swimming at the pool. Especially enjoyed in the morning before breakfast to have it all for myself. Later music usually is very load and many songs in russian. ||That is true that most guests are from Russia and this is the most popular language you hear in hotel area. They do evening programs and shows and games on stage and this is also in russian. For me this was not a big deal, I speak and understand the language. ||The beach was nice enough, sunbeds are confortable and no extra charge, towels are changed few times per week in spa center||MY TIPS:||1.have cash. Euros or Liras. Almost everywhere you can pay by card but in buses for example you can only pay by cash. My trip was last minute, was rushed, so I didnt prepare cash🙈||2.going to Kleopatra beach in Alanya - totally worth it. The garden beach hotel beach was nice but I knew that I had to visit Kleopatra beach in Alanya - beach there is extraordinary beautiful and it is only 13km away. (By local bus it took me only 10-15mins and cost 1€ or 40liras.) beautiful to walk, to spend day sunbathing. You can easily get unbrella and sunbed, eat out, sunbath, swim, watch sunset and yet come back for late dinner in hotel👌||3.Buy some medicine here - most things in pharmacies here are like 3 times cheaper. And for some things they don’t even ask for a prescription, that I would not get without a prescription in my homecountry Lithuania. ||4. Take many beautiful photos on golden hour. If travelling solo - bring your...
