Elite Hotel İstanbul Airport — Hotel in Arnavutköy

This hotel was recommended by our travel agency based on supposed "good reviews"—a completely misleading representation. This place is an absolute dump. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else.

The front desk staff, especially the girl who is supposedly fluent in English, is glued to her phone and couldn’t care less about helping guests. We arranged an airport transfer through the hotel, waited 40 minutes, and were finally picked up in an old van by a rude driver who didn’t even bother to help with our luggage. The ride was painfully long, adding to the poor experience.

Once here, I ordered two kebabs and two small bottles of water, which somehow totaled 26 Euros. The room reeks of cigarette smoke, and the air conditioning is set at 28°C. When I asked the front desk to lower it to 25°C, because they can only change it, they eventually obliged—but that just turned it into an ineffective fan blowing cold air. Apparently, the air conditioning only "works" at 28°C.The TV doesn't work either.

Exceptional!!! I would give this place six stars if I could. From the moment we arrived, they took excellent care of us. One person in our party was sick and since we weren’t familiar with the area, the worker volunteered to go in the rain, to the store and bought her some over-the-counter medicine. The meals were divine and made to order anytime and inexpensive. They were way better than I could imagine. We tried to ask about places to visit and they pulled up shows on YouTube for us to watch. We asked for more towels and they refused to hand them to us, they wanted to personally walk them up to our room even though we were standing right there. Our room and the hotel was spotless and the location is amazing. Since we weren’t sleepy, we stayed in the lobby late at night. They were so kind that they kept serving us tea. The most shocking thing is when we tried to give them a tip, they refused to accept it. I will be staying here again. Please, please, please stay here too. It is a high-quality hotel at a budget...
