Erzurum Oltu Cağ Kebap — Local services in Arnavutköy

I know 3 Turkish words. The guys there knew at most 1 English word (if you can call "ok" a word). It's a halal place, so no pork, no alcohol. I found out soon after I sat down that "menu yok", "wifi yok". No menu, no wifi, no English. Perfect start of my dinner! No distractions, no choices! The guy comes with 2 metal skewers with delicious looking meat, a basket of flat breads and a plate with sliced onions and tomatoes. Most people had that, maybe Ayran and/or tea and they would leave. The moment I took the first bite from that meat in the flat bread flavoured with onion and tomato, my knees started to shiver and I felt chills down my spine. That first taste was all I needed to know. I ended up having 4 of those skewers, 2 of those plates, 2 Ayrans, 1 tea and I would have loved to have the grilled pepper, but I didn't know how to ask for it. I was really hungry and their food was really tasty. I had a good smoke after all of that, as it's smoker friendly. I loved it and I would go there multiple times per week if I could!!! Great food!...

Superb!!!!! Very friendly staff, there's one staff speaking English and he was the one who take our order. My dad ordered just a wrap to take away. Probably most authentic kebab we had during our travels around Turkey. Feels like family run business, they looked after us very well, were welcoming and provided fantastic service, this is on top of delicious and crusty lamb meat with dose of spicy charred peppers! Delicious....
