MQ Hotel Suites — Hotel in Arnavutköy

Wonderful hotel. The staff were all wonderful and so friendly. We checked in at 4 am as the flight got delayed. We booked airport shuttle pick up and despite us being late the driver still picked us up.

The room were very comfortable and came with all the amenities. It included shavers kit, dental floss kit, fruits and the regular coffees, teas. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in. The hotel did mention it had pool facilities, but it wasn’t available at that point and it looked like it was being repaired.

We opted for a the breakfast service and the food was amazing. The breakfast place had amazing view as it was facing the sea. The service was quite fast.

Special credit to the driver Emre who is the driver who picked and dropped us from the airport. He was so friendly and communicated with us through WhatsApp until the drop/ pick up time. I enquired with him about Friday prayers. He kindly also took me to Friday prayers.

Only downside is the location. If you are looking to do touristy stuff, then this is quite far from central. But if you are looking for a relaxing stay, then this is...

We stayed twice on the way into and then out of Turkey during a recent trip. During visits to parts other than Istanbul our travel plans called for overnight stay in Istanbul before domestic/international flight. A visit to the city was not realistic for timing but MQ Hotel Suites was a terrific alternative to the typical airport hotel. Only 20-25 minute taxi away (1300ish Turkish Lira) you can have a nice room looking over the Black Sea. The room was comfortable, clean, the staff very friendly, and hotel restaurant giving a great respite for a drink and some food. If looking for more, there is a nice pool area, the Black Sea and beach across the street, and a few great food options a short walk away. Finally.....the cost (even with taxis) is substantially better value than internal airport hotel. Long-haul travel can be painful and MQ Hotel and staff were perfect to address those challenges and make you ready for your continued journey the next day. We were looking for a place to rest in between flights vs trying to see the city in 18 hours. We like visiting like a local. We took a cab from the airport. it was about 30 minutes the opposite direction of Istanbul. It was a wonderful find and a great experience. We'd stay here again. (The room is a little snug, but easy to enjoy.). The amenities are relaxing. The roof top pool was elegant and relaxing. We spent time in the spa area. It was warm, relaxing, do-it-yourself and a great compliment to the pool. Breakfast was tasty and the service kind. Try the turkish coffee!! The hotel is across from the sea. The evenings get windy.
