Unfortunately, another subpar / disappointing Bodrum hotel. In short: super basic, badly maintained, outdated & not clean.
Stayed here for 6 nights. I’m surprised by all the positive reactions. Here’s my comments:
(1) Staff speaks little to 0 English. Nothing. There’s 1 or 2 ppl who can “communicate”. Besides that, not a word.
(2) Rooms are slightly outdated. AC works well, but all the rest is questionable. The fabric of the chair is FULL of white spots (I hope paint). Towels are the same. There’s dirt consistently at the entrance somehow.
(3) There is NO WIFI. Like none. Definitely not in the rooms. Don’t make the same mistake I did by thinking you can work remotely. There’s barely any cell coverage, so 4G/5G is super slow too.
(4) In 6 days, they did not clean the room once. On day 3, they asked me whether I wanted “housekeeping”. I said “YES” and “EVET” (in English & Turkish). Surprisingly, nothing ever happened. My trash from all 6 days was there all week.
(5) The facilities were probably nice in 1995. Now they’re run-down, outdated. Badly maintained.
(6) The locks on some of the doors are nearly broken. Very very tough to get the door locked, if you manage at all. It’s a safe area, but still.
(7) All furniture of the beach, the restaurant, the pool, etc.. Is so outdated. The beach beds are all ripped or have moldy patches on them.
Only positive is truly the view. It’s a nice spot and close to Gumusluk center, for a “decent” (not cheap) price. And the people at the restaurant...

If you want to see dead flies next to your breakfast plates, empty but dirty tables, sandals sticking to the restaurant floor, bath towels that smell bad and leave dust on your body, dust everywhere as soon as you enter your room, sticky taps, and, to top it off, mold in the shower… then this is the place for you!
The room wasn’t cleaned for two days, ants crawl up in the evening, and the shower products are dirty. In fact, everything you touch in this hotel is dirty.
Be prepared to spend your money in nearby restaurants because you won’t want to have breakfast here. You’ll have the unpleasant feeling that you threw your money out the window, especially given the price paid.
0 professionalism. 0 staff trained in hospitality. For the price we paid, it’s a disgrace.
The pool isn’t bad, but don’t expect clean sunbeds… apparently, that’s too much to ask.
I was so uncomfortable that I ended up cancelling two nights (already paid for, of course) and booking another hotel just to make sure my vacation wouldn’t be completely ruined.
Do not be fooled by the photos on the website.
And when I came back the second day because the room hadn’t been cleaned and we hadn’t even had fresh sheets after two days at 12:30 PM, I was told calmly, “They are coming, they are cleaning the rooms,” with absolute calm.
I have never experienced such a catastrophic stay in a hotel.
Here are all the photos: mold, dust, and...
Read moreAs a family & couple we've been to this hotel twice in the past decade, which was very close to being heaven on earth. With the change of the proprietor, the establishment, unfortunately, is not what it used to be! The staff is inefficient, breakfast is substandard; the rooms need facelifting & better maintenance as far as cleanliness, towels & sheets are concerned. The windows were very dirty & so was the facility in general. However, the room we stayed in & its balcony were very spacious (#215).On the other hand, the village of Gumusluk is as charming and simple as several years ago!The sea is just magneficient: suitable for every taste: clear, blue and REFRESHING. The wind is heavenly. We didn't have to turn on the A/C even once. The beach right in front of the hotel was not crowded, but it was not well maintained: the sand and the chais lounges were not clean. Despite all the shortcomings, the sunsets, the sea and the Mediterrenian kitchen were well worth the trip! The hotel with its unique location should opt for...
