PLENTY better places to eat!

Terrible service. Arrived and myself and my mother wanted to sit down to eat. I was starving but my mother was just a little hungry. We asked about the breakfast and they said the buffet was closed - which was clearly not true as others were still having and using the buffet. We then asked about the single set menu breakfast for myself and they said that we would BOTH need to order it for it to come. We thought this was weird as the price for the breakfast was labelled clearly on the menu and it didn’t say anywhere that a minimum of TWO would need to be bought. The price to eat here was suddenly forced on to us to be around 380tl just for myself to have a breakfast before my mother even ordered what she wanted. I’m giving this place a one star for poor management, they lose another star for slow service and uncaring attitude to their customers, lost another star for not only disallowing myself from having a breakfast - but also telling my mother what to eat. She wanted to order a borek and the waiter kept saying that he was going to put it through as a gozleme. Haha n the menu it clearly stated it was borek and he said they didn’t have any borek in the restaurant and never serve it. I looked around and saw plenty people eating borek. Poor staffing and poor management and 100% the fact I wasn’t allowed to order something that’s clearly on the menu shows that this place is dodgy and very easily avoidable. Avoid avoid avoid PLENTY better places to eat as I’ll repeat, don’t bother...

I have been going to their restaurant several times over the years. Until today I have never had a problem. They have good food and acceptable and fast service.

The problem is that there are bad apples working here. Anyone who have been here knows street parking is crucial. I parked to a spot I have parked many times in the past. Their valet was extremely rude to me when we were departing. I kept my courtesy and told him that they should have put signs where they don't want their customers to park their cars. Rudeness is one problem I can live with but their next action I will never tolerate. One person attacked us from the building our car was parked to and the valet's attitude triggered to whole incident. We explained the whole thing to the chief waiter with no satisfactory resolution.

This establishment does not care about the safety of their patrons. I will take my business elsewhere even though I always loved this place.

When we asked if they had rooms for our unexpected stay, we'd already visited the restaurant several times and began to get to know the staff. We were told, "We want to welcome you to our hotel and to the Orkide family". They've been as good as their word.||This is a hotel where the owner, management and staff are genuinely interested in getting to know their guests and ensure they're happy. The friendship is underpinned by an impeccable professionalism and attention to the guest experience. ||Karem, the head chef, and Mustafa, the Maitre d', lead teams that provide superb food and service. ||The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. We were lucky to have one of the rooms overlooking the patio with a view out to sea. The bathing platform is comfortable and well served.||The Orkide is unique (as far as I can tell) in being open throughout the year. As well as being a popular tourist destination, it clearly has a loyal and enthusiastic local clientele. ||This is a gem - classy and intimate without being sophisticated or impersonal.
