Kale Pansiyon — Hotel in Demre

We came for a 3-day getaway from Kemer and found ourselves in a truly magical, atmospheric place. It was exactly what we needed — peaceful, with very few people around during the week (a huge bonus when you're trying to escape the crowds!).

We stayed in a lovely room with a balcony that had both a sofa and a table — and the view was absolutely stunning. We took kayaks and explored the nearby bays, hiked up to the fortress, and wandered through the village.

Breakfast was great, and dinner by the water was absolutely delicious. One morning, a huge sea turtle swam up to us during breakfast — a magical little bonus we’ll never forget.

Small downsides: there were some mosquitoes (but the hotel provides repellent), and the spacious bathroom could use more hooks or hangers.

And the best part? We were so relaxed that we forgot our passports and left for Kemer — and the owner kindly and quickly arranged to send them to us. Thank you so much!

We stayed one night with friends after a day of trekking. Yasin Bey, the hotel manager sent a boat to pick us up from Ucagiz.The team was very friendly. Yasin Bey arranged two boat trips for us. His recommended boat (Cagdas1, Mustafa Captain) was perfect and became highlight of our trip. The rooms are very clean and very close to the beach. We had dinner at the restraurant. We had a fish stew which was really nice. We recommend the stew. ||The only thing that we missed was lack of higher quality coffee such as espressos and lattes. We needed to look for other places for coffee. Fortunately, there is ANK Pension, next door. They have a nespresso machine and could provide you with good coffee right next door. ||Very friendly family run business. Awesome hotel and great vacation. I stayed here for 4 days with a friend and her child . The sea is great the atmosphere is wonderful and rooms are very clean. The first time I saw the view from the bathroom I was speechless. İncredibly silent at night, you get the most peaceful sleep at night. Just what you need! The owners are a great sincere couple very cheerful and they aim to please you all the time without cluttering you. Yasin is a great owner, he came to pick us up with the boat from Ucagız and although the sea was a little rough it was a great ride. The rooms have recently been refurnished and the main building is within the actual old stone structure. Incredibly authentic experience. The area in front of the rooms are really cool as well, you can watch the sky at night full of the stars.
