Location is optimal, surrounded by many shops, restaurants, coffee shops, fast food, and a supermarket, and only within walking distance to major shopping centre. ||Staff is exceptional, the check in was hassle-free. Hotel has a very nice spa, offering a range of massage and and beauty treatments at affordable prices. ||Breakfast Buffett can be included with your room. There were ample selections, mostly Turkish dishes, with only cereal and boiled eggs for this picky Canadian with a blain pallet. There was also a selection of fresh fruit. Restaurant opens at 7 am, not good for someone like me departing at 6:30 am, although I was able to grab a handful of Clementines before leaving. ||Like most hotel rooms in the majority of mid-priced ranged hotels, the room was compact but well laid-out. The washroom and shower stall was nicely decorated with beautiful marble tile. ||NO AC available during off season. Being Canadian and use to colder temperatures, especially when sleeping. I arrived late, and my room temperature was at 24 C, so I decided to turn on the AC to 18 C. I wake up 3 hours later in a pool of sweat, and the room is at 28 C, and the duct is blowing hot air not cold? I am then forced to turn it off, and open the window...however the window is locked, and I discover a key required to open it. Needless to say it was difficult to sleep on a wet bed in a hot room. I inform the front desk in the am, and the young lady informed me the central air is shut-off during the winter months, but she could arranged to unlock and open my window (which worked out ok temperature wise, however it added the sounds of a busy street in Istanbul). I was also able to hear quite easily, others talking in the adjoining room, as well as their TV (which they left on all night), fortunately the street noise drowned it out. ||If you are a light sleeper who requires quietness and a cool room to sleep. This isn’t the place for you. ||TV - beautify set, however there was not a single English station to watch. ||Wifi - the signal was strong, consistent, and download rate was very good anywhere on the premises. ||Other than the room temperature issue (no AC during the winter) I highly recommend this property. Good bang...
Read moreSo far the worst hotel I have ever been in. When we booked it they told us everything was included even the spa, once we checked out the told me to pay an extra £350 for the services I have used, such as the mini bar, spa, cleaning service. The internet is BAD, it doesn’t work at all When you pay, you only pay for the room not for anything else. When I was checking out, I had a really bad experience with one of the staff members saying that I have taken a pillow and for so they charged me £70, I told them that, that wasn’t true I haven’t taken anything from there, after checking, they found the pillow, I claimed for an apology, they refused to apologise. The manager came and spoke to us instead, as rude as the staff member in the reception. The owner of the hotel he clapped at us from upstairs to tell us to stop, who did he think was. Plus, the room was dirty, dirty carpet, no clean towels were changed, they were really rude, they made my mum cry. The location was very far away from the main city. Anyways, please don’t book a...
Read moreDon’t know how this place is called a “hotel”, I would rather to stay at a shelter over this place. I don’t know where to start from actually, the AC doesn’t work at all, it’s on heat mode all the time the room was more like a sauna. The internet is BAD, communicating with the staff is a whole another story. They don’t speak English, their customer service is down to the toilet level, the room was not clean and when I asked them to change the pillow because it has some stains, I found no response. The room was small as a grave. There is a mosque close to the hotel which can be very disturbing because of the loud sound coming from the microphones. The TV has more than 800 channels and if you are lucky enough u might stumble on a channel in English. I ordered tea on the 10th and checked out on the 11th without sipping from that tea, because it never came. To be fair the only good side wasn’t the hotel itself it was the...
