Mia City Hotel — Hotel in Gaziemir

We are a family of 2 kids, we booked a suite for 8 nights, one bedroom and living room with sofa bed, suite came with one bathroom and 2 smart TVs, 4 sqm open kitchen with main appliances like small fridge, microwave, oven, water heater. ||||The Good: Hotel is good and modern, location is 20 minutes away from the noisy downtown, very close to the airport (less than 10 minutes), 5 minutes' walk from Optimum Mall, reception people and room service were great (smiley & helpful at all times). ||||The Bad: the hotel is on the main street so expect to hear noise starting from 7 AM, rooms are very narrow, bed and pillows are not comfortable for a person used to sleep on medical springs\pillows, breakfast is awful, Safe was movable\very small so it is not recommended to keep your IDs\passports or money in the room's safe. Worst thing I can remember is the breakfast. This is a 4-star hotel, Mia City management should reconsider this horrible breakfast. The staff were very friendly, The room was nice and clean and helpful, but personally I did not think they had good choices in the restaurant and the breakfast was not very interesting and fresh. Poor breakfast. A waiter was holding a telephone in his hand and in his pocket all the time, constantly touching his hair, which is completely unsanitary. It 's really disgusting. The waiter did not understand English, so it was impossible to communicate with him.
