Elm Suite Hotel — Hotel in Kâğıthane

I traveled with my wife and my 2 kids. We stayed in a duplex, the kids loved the idea of an inside stairs! the staff were very friendly and helpful, the furniture and space was really great, we enjoyed our stay there, there's a parking in front of the hotel and in the building in front of the hotel, it is free of charge just ask any of the gentlemen in the reception and they will help you. The breakfast was classical simple Turkish style, great for a quick bite. The thing i loved is the quietness of the neighborhood...you surely can sleep all you want without any heard sound, it's a family friendly area, we had a car so i don't know about transportation.

The lightening is very light...i mean the room needs more light :) but that's fine i guess because people use these rooms for sleeping ... was disappointed with the balcony that's over viewing rooftops of other building, to be honest i knew it's not a sea view but i expected at least a landscape not just rooftops. Overall...

Quality at a low price. The employees are very friendly and helping. This hotel is not a wellness hotel ,but if you are in Istanbul Şişli vor a purpose and you want to be near to public transport, shopping centers.. this is probably one of the best. Pros: Friendly employees. New hotel ( good against earthquake). Convenient and clean bed. There is a kitchen, fridge and cooking opportunity. Aircondition. very stable lockable aluminium doors.

Contras: No kitchen utilities, spoons and forks. Smoke smell in bathroom and we are non smokers (probably coming from down). Dush water collect, when you want to dush with high pressure, because of poorly made water disposal. Breakfast is not advisable but sufficient if your expectations are not high. It is better to eat outside there are enough opportunities 100m around..

So this a quality hotel with important pro s and not that important contras to a...

Usually I don't leave negative reviews but the experience i had in this hotel was something out of mind. Unfortunately the hotel room didn't meet my expectations. I had booked a room for 4 nights and arrived around 20:00. At first look it doest look bad everything is clean. But on the second night while I was sleeping I felt uncomfortable like something is under my bedsheets and my backs shoulder started itching. In one second I discover an insect sucking my blood it turnes out its BEDBUG. Immediately I informed the receptionist about the finding and he was kind to change my room for another. I also wanted to talk with hotel manager about the findings but no-one came to. As a result I'm going to take legal actions after talking with my lawyer. Hope they are gonna be shut down some period under inspection ( although I didn't want to harm the employees who...
