Hotel Baylan Yenişehir — Hotel in Konak

The hotel itself was fine. Clean rooms, quiet, very nice breakfast. Staff that speaks enough English to help with whatever you need. But as a female solo traveler I would not recommend this hotel as the area it is in is not central and frankly made me feel very unsafe. I only stayed for one night as I was meeting someone at the airport the next day, and I went out to find an ATM. I was followed on the street by men, one of whom would not let me walk past him and continued to follow me until I reached the hotel. Another man was taking pictures of me. I don't speak any Turkish and none of them spoke English so there is the possibility that this was some huge mis-communication, but at the same time I have never felt more unsafe. If you are in a group, the area is probably fine, but as a female solo traveler I decided it was better to stick to the hotel at night rather than...

Really I was in hill with this scammer hotel

I was booked and make payment for this hotel as my flight reach in mid night I come with my family so tired and when I reach he told me all the room are booked!!!!

I told him : I already pay for you and I show him the confirmation from Booking. comment But nothing happens

He guide me to another worst hotel.... At the end I stay searching for hotels in mid night and my family with me

Not only that... I get email from booking. Com that the hotel informed: the customer didn't do check-in!!!!!!!!

Die Umgebung des Hotels ist nix fuer reine Touristen, wer aber wie ich in der Naehe zu tun hat (z.B. Tepecik Uniklinik) ist hier wirklich gut und sehr preiswert aufgehoben. Zumal man mit dem Taxi zur Innenstadt (Konak Pasaport) oder zur Flaniermeile "Kordon" am Meer nur etwa 20 YTL (etwa 3-4 Euro) zahlt. Unser Auto konnten wir direkt vor dem Hoteleingang parken und wurden dort auch freundlich in Empfang genommen, zum check-in und auf's Zimmer begleitet. Wir waren angenehm ueberrascht ob der guten Groesse, der Sauberkeit, den bequemen Betten, der super! Klimaanlage und der befuellten und preiswerten Minibar. Unser Fenster war zu oeffnen. Der Flachbild-TV verfuegt nur ueber tuerkische Kanaele - aber, dass man bei einem Preis von 20/30 Euro fuer 2 Personen inkl. Fruehstueck keinen Luxus erwarten kann.....erklaert sich ja von selbst. Das Fruehstueck war landestypisch und ausreichend - neben div. Kaese eine Gefluegelaufschnitts-Wurst, Gurken/Tomaten/Rucola/Oliven, gebackene Wuerstchen, Kartoffeln und gekochte Eier u.s.w. Der tuerkische Tee war hervorragend und der Pulverkaffee ein Markenprodukt. Wer mehr mag, koennte sich in einem der beiden Supermaerkte direkt nebenan ja etwas dazukaufen. Wir waren auch so zufrieden. Besonders moechte ich den netten Service hervorheben - so wurden wir z.B. abends darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass wir unsere Auto-Tuer nicht abgeschlossen hatten. Wir fuehlten uns sehr wohl hier und trotz der aermlichen Gegend sicher. Fuer Restaurantbesuche wuerde ich aber immer eine Fahrt in die Innenstadt empfehlen, die Rezeption ruft ratz-fatz ein...
