Rooms: Noise isolation is not ideal and the AC units unfortunately are not fit to properly deal with the humid izmir weather (they either blast freezing cold air or barely cool the room down with most settings not working)
Service: The staff is very nice and professional. It has been very pleasant to interact with them as they're always friendly yet they keep proper boundaries with guests. In addition, they have a very nice breakfast buffet with tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, white cheese, toast cheese slices, green/black olives, fried sausage slices, hard-boiled eggs, corn flakes, honey, butter, jam, chocolate, and bread. They refill everything continuously until the kitchen closes at 11am, and it makes for a very light yet filling breakfast.
I will talk about my experience here in more detail as I believe it properly reflects how this hotel actually is:
On day 1, a woman in the room next to ours was crying nonstop for around 3 hours, and making other questionable sounds with her partner for the following 2 hours. This wasn't of much concern to us as we spent most of the day outside but it was troublesome to be bothered like this when we wanted to rest. On day 2, we were woken up by the same woman crying again and after letting reception know of our concern, they agreed to call the police if it gets too bad but they cannot do anything as long as they don't make noise after 11pm. We left as the woman was having a very loud breakdown, throwing furniture around, and after we came back, reception let us know that they had kicked the couple out. I think this was dealt with very professionally and I respect them for it.
After this, our stay was concluded with no further issues and the staff catered to our every need, going out of their way to help us at times. In my opinion, the only negative aspects of this hotel are the lack of effective air conditioning and very little...

The room was small but very very clean. The bathroom was even smaller but very clean as well. I was traveling alone and got the smallest/cheapest room so these may not apply to your situation. The room was totally fine for 1 person. The breakfast was the same each day but it had solid choices! Chopped sausages, hard boiled eggs, multiple types of cheese, meat, veggies and most importantly Turkish tea. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The WiFi was BLAZING FAST. I was shocked. I was streaming and watching YouTube videos the whole time with no interruptions. I don't know if all rooms have this amazing connection but I was in 304 if that helps anyone. The A/C was nice and cold.
The air condition worked very well however, it was directly above the bed and would occasionally spit out some condensation water on me while laying down in bed. It wasn't a lot and it didn't really bother me so l didn't see the need to complain. I'm not sure how this would be fixed but if it can then the room...
Read moreMustafa and Serkan are really the only two positives we can take away from our 6 day stop at this hotel. These two are way way too good for this hotel. Both work tirelessly on reception and can never do enough for you. The outside and reception area look fine but from there on it gets bad. In fact it gets down right terrible. The rooms are filthy and the contents such as beds, fridge, wardrobes, shower all belong in a skip. See pics ! Apart from the staff there is no way this even earns a 2 star rating !! Breakfast was mediocre...nothing special but clean and adequate. The hotel is situated bmore or less central and everything is reachable with a 20-30 min walk or a 5-10 min taxibride.but bevwarned, it is directly opposite a hospital which incurs lots and lots of traffic. Also, lots of stray cats and dogs walking around. Again, it's a shame I've had to say these things and the staff deserve such a better hotel...
