"On the Beach" description about the hotel says that parking is available at the hotel - NOT TRUE ! The hotel doesn't have a car park for customers. The room was in a very dirty condition ,to be honest, it looks like they only changed bed linen and that's it. The shower was mouldy with pink and black stains, the shower door was dirty, not functioning properly as it should slide, the shower head was broken,so the water was running from the sides, also spraying water from the shower tap area. Mirrors were full of water stains and left over stains from previous users. The sink was also dirty from previous users ( toothpaste or something similar). The toilet was dirty from previous users in very bad condition ( Not willing to describe how people can leave the toilet dirty ). Hair and toe nails on the floor. We requested to upgrade our room, but as we were introduced to a person who came , that's he is a manager, all what he did, pointed to a cleaners, what we saw dirty, and they cleaned. We were in the room, sitting with our legs up until they clean the room. "Graffiti" on the walls. Someone just wrote a number calculation on the wall, and it's still there. Two balconies in the room: The first one had a burned hole in the plastic table and a broken door handle ( no handle). Another balcony was covered with hair and toe nails left overs. Breakfast served from 7:00 - 9:30. Only 2.5 hours. We arrived at 9:20 and weren't able to get hot food,as everything was empty. In angry manners we managed to get an omelet. Once we made coffee,we couldn't squeeze milk from empty jugs. We asked for more milk - the answer was: " we don't have any milk...". The selection of food was poor. They don't have enough plates and cutleries,so you may end up waiting until someone finishes their food, then they quickly wash the plates and give you back to use it again ( hygiene is very poor ). Some cups were still with lipstick leftovers. The tables weren't cleaned after customers,so you end up using a dirty table and chair or no table at all. We took our chance to try dinner and it was wrong decision. No plates,no clean tables and poor food selection with no top ups. We stayed 4 night ( only good thing, that we stayed short time). No room refreshment at ALL. No shower gel or shampoo top up,no toilet rolls top up,no fresh towels. We end up to buy more stuff from the shop, even bin bags. The public toilet in the hotel at morning time around 11:00 ,were dirty with human feces and wet around it. At the checkout time , receptionist with his smoke time never lead customers with any manners or his job description procedures ( if any job description...
Read moreWe stayed at Epic Hotel in Marmaris for 5 days and, unfortunately, our experience was nothing short of appalling. From the very beginning, everything fell far below expectations.
We booked as a family of 6 and specifically requested 3 rooms together. Instead, we were given rooms scattered across the hotel—two on opposite sides of the 2nd floor and the third all the way on the 4th floor. This immediately set the tone for what turned out to be a very poor stay.
The hotel itself is in a shocking state. The carpets throughout are filthy and clearly have not been cleaned in years. When we raised this with the receptionist (who could only communicate with us via Google Translate), we were told that complaints had been made to the manager, but nothing was ever done.
Our own room was plagued with problems: the air conditioning unit leaked for 4 days straight, despite us reporting it multiple times. No one ever came to fix it, so we were forced to turn it off and sleep in the heat. Light switches didn’t work, drawer handles were broken, and there was no way of contacting reception other than physically walking down each time.
Breakfast was a complete letdown—extremely sparse and unappetizing, to the point where we had to go out and pay for food every morning. Towels were another source of frustration: we were told not to use the room towels at the pool (which we respected), but when we asked for pool towels we were rudely told we should have brought our own. Nowhere in the booking information was this mentioned.
The so-called “cleaning service” was almost non-existent. Our rooms were only cleaned once, bed sheets and towels were never changed, and there were no bins provided in the bedrooms. On top of that, no drinking water was provided, no tea or coffee facilities were available, and to use the in-room safe we were told we had to pay extra per day.
The manager was rude and dismissive, and none of the reception staff spoke English, making communication extremely frustrating.
Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. The standard of cleanliness, service, and hospitality was absolutely unacceptable. I would not recommend Epic Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable or enjoyable stay...
Read moreThis hotel is situated quite a distance from the sea front in Amutalan, it is a very large hotel and provides a bed and breakfast service, and is surrounded by many bars and restaurants, staff looked miserable, not really any help, you would ask them to provide something which was missing out the room aka a bin they nodded but nothing appeared so i wouldn't bother ask. Breakfast was ok but catered toward the locals, watch out for the flies and people handling the food with out using suitable tools
Here gose i would not stay there again, no way not even if it was offered for free, carpeting was stained shower head and taps rusted no change of sheets dirty skirting and broken doors on the inside, toilet was broken and leaking and the fridge was yellow with no shelves , the walls are that thin you could hear everything and i mean everything going on in the room next-door I would really seriously consider not to stay there and if you do its at your own risk
I cant understand why tour operators would use this hotel the standards are absolutely appalling
Sorry guys you really need to do some work on that hotel if i could rate the experience...
