Upon arriving at hotel there was a young woman at reception complaint about a fast food, she asked for a recommendation from staff member & they told her a kebab place just across the road and around the corner. I had my Turkish friend (who came to greet me from a different hotel upon my arrival) and my friend was telling me that this is common as the hotel staff get money from the fast food place as they charge extra. ||||Anyway onto my own stay! ||I arrived with myself, my son & my parents (3 adults 1 larger child) who still required a buggy at times (special needs). ||The check in was fast and easy. Upon arriving in the room there were a bottle of water, and some tea/coffee items and a kettle. I went to pour the water into the kettle only to find a huge amount of MOLD‼️. I took the kettle down to reception where they tried telling me it was okay and just to boil the water it will go away 😖. After going back and forth I had a lovely man come with a brand new kettle and was very apologetic. ||||‼️THE ROOM‼️||Our room was EXTREMELY SMALL. 1 double bed 1 single bed (where was the 4th person sleeping, no travel cot or other bed). The room was very very dark even with the lights on and curtains open. The balcony was that small that my 3 year old could lay across it and touch both sides with his arms stretched above his head. Time to unpack 2 weeks worth of clothes. There was little to no space, 4 hangers in the cupboard. A broke, a shelf which was laying on its side. 1 teeny tiny drawer which fitted the 3 years old pants & socks. Then trying to find place for suitcases (thankfully brought 3 and not 4). the room was clean, bathroom was clean. It had a hairdryer inside the bathroom on the wall which was powerful so that’s bonus (usually they are very slow and not great. This one was great). ||This room was on the 1st floor just above the reception.||||‼️MAIN RESTAURANT‼️||The food was very very repetitive, for example Monday could have had a chicken curry. Well on the Tuesday it was called a curry chicken or something similar. If you’re like me and don’t like veg then you won’t like 90% of the food as it’s in it or through almost everything. Trying to find a seat is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Once you eventually found a seat the staff came over asking if you’d like to drink and as you’re nearing the end of your drink they come back asking if you’d like more etc. ||||‼️KIDS FOOD IN MAIN RESTAURANT‼️||Was your normal typical food, nuggets, chips, pasta, beans, pizza. Unfortunately with it being for kids they can help themselves and upon getting items for my son I seen many half eaten items put back and lots of hairs in different things (was always longer hairs so most likely belonged to a young girl) ||||‼️SNACK BAR FOOD‼️ ||Snack bar food is 1000% better but again most have veg (and if your like me it’s hard to find food you like, but fit more options) was mostly like bbq grilled food and finger foods/ party foods. ||||‼️BAR‼️||Never had any problems with the bar or seating sound it. The Que can get pretty long but that’s expected. ||||‼️RECEPTION LOBBY‼️||Lovely open space. I’m writing this here in hopes it may help someone with young kids on snacks. If you go away to the other side opposite reception there is a little , tea coffee, drinks, area with some cookies, brownies / cakes etc. I only discovered this in the last 4 hours of our 2 week holiday while waiting on our bus to take us to the airport. ||||‼️LOCATION‼️||This is pretty far out. It takes around 35-40 minutes to walk from the hotel to the grand bazaar or 5 minutes in a taxi (around 500 lira if I remember right) ||||‼️POOL AREA‼️ ||Sometimes with hotels the kids pool area is heated. This kids pool isn’t. Unfortunately my son wouldn’t go in it. And also couldn’t get a seat / bed anywhere in our 2 weeks holiday. ||Loads of people smoking and throwing their finished cigarettes on the ground, drinking far too much alcoholic drinks which was embarrassing. There was a youngish couple around 28-32years who were DRUNK and got up left there 2 children around the ages of 7 & the youngest was just a little baby around 10months in the doona car seat. I was watching from a short distance when I noticed after 10 minutes that neither parents came back (forgot to mention these 2 kids were having a nap by the pool in the doona and on a pool bed with a towel over her, I went over beside them with my napping 3 year old and the 7 year old woke up wondering where his parents were and I tried calming him down but unfortunately he then woke up his baby sister and my son. So I tried gathering all of our stuff together to get them inside. Tried getting a parents name of some sort out of him he then told me his name and the hotel searched it up. And went to hotel room where the parents were SLEEPING‼️. I was absolutely disgusted but I’m glad I was there the keep this babies safe (was 1 hour 20 minutes I had this kids for) ||||‼️FIGHTS & ARGUMENTS‼️ ||Hotel was supposed to be family friendly but honestly the amount of Arguments and fights ||I witnessed was diabolical! I had someone trying to get in my room claiming he was my partner (I don’t even have a partner 😂) he then tried getting a room key to my room 😖I phoned police on him and got him removed. ||I also had a drunk man laying right outside my room door . Security was very fast on going up to see...
Read more5 of us went for a week all inclusive. Unfortunately my husband & I were placed on the 4th floor & my kids were placed on the 1st floor when I asked for them to be given a room next door to us. The reception staff didn't have a clue what activities/entertainment was on in the evenings so I thankful caught the manager to ask & he kindly informed me & said that the reception staff should all know this (he wasn't happy they didn't). The other issue we found was during breakfast/lunch/dinner times when the staff are extremely eager to clear your plates before you've even finished eating.
In regards to the location of the hotel, we quickly found out that we weren't going to get a full night's sleep because our 4th floor room (as well as other floors) was far to close to the Arabic Mosque that's right by the hotel & it broadcasts the call to prayer through very loud speakers that are placed on the outsideof the building, high up on the tallest steeple.
Prayers are then either played through these loud speakers (or sung through a microphone) 5x a day, everyday starting at 4:40am, then again about 1pm ish, 5pm ish, 8:20pm ish, & almost 10pm. The 4:40am prayer woke me up every single morning & it makes absolutely NO difference with your balcony door shut. The hotels cleanliness was excellent, the chose of food was really good (although its mainly the same kind of foods each day), the staff at the bar & the ice-cream area next to the bar were always extremely happy & enjoy to make people laugh. The poolside entertainment was really good, although the activities are mainly aimed at young children rather than older kids. The 2 pool slides weren't really open much, only once or twice a day they open them up, which was a shame as the slides are great fun (even for us adult kids lol). You do get bothered a lot by certain staff that work there trying to sell extra food, (strawberries & choc sauce snacks etc), a photographer (we had pic's taken by him & they were amazing but not the cheapest £120 for 20 pics, 2 small keyrings & an album) football game scores tickets etc that walk around the pool areas always trying to get you to buy something they are offering. The businesses that are around the pools selling Turkish mud baths, massages & the hairdressers will also try to get you to buy a service from them when you walk past them.
We had tattoos done in the piercing & tattoo shop that's next to one of the pools, the evening before we flew back home the next morning & I always heard horror stories about getting tats abroad & that you should never do it.
I decided to take the risk & had a medium sized tattoo of a sun & moon kind of dream catcher done on the top of my back & I'm pleased I did. The bloke there did an amazing job, his prices are reasonable (better than what the UK charges), his cleanliness was superb & all the needles were sealed & packaged properly & he changed needles with every new customer. So I do recommend him if you fancy a bit of inking on ya holiday. Shop owners within the hotel are really friendly, caring & like to have a joke with everyone.
The stores outside the hotel (turn left outside reception, the turn right at crossroads) are mostly really cheap (there is one that's not as cheap) & its cheaper to buy gifts etc from those shops rather than the ones in the hotel & stuff at the airport that they shockingly call "40% off duty free". Bournemouth airports "duty free" & Dalaman airport are a complete RIP OFF! For 10 pouches of Amber leaf baccy they wanted like £120 for it. Went to the shop across from the hotel & got the same x10 pouches of baccy for £30.00, so don't buy in the airports.
On our way home in Dalaman airport, we found a kind of kebab van stall (after security) that sells, sandwich rolls, crisps, drinks, small choc croissants (the woman will heat it up for you). I brought x4 sandwich rolls, x2 bags of crisps & 6 juice drinks (bottles) & it cost me just over £97.00!!! I was gobsmacked & have or never would ever spend that much on any lunch food in my life, so definitely...

Excursions We have always got our from Ago travel which is across the road We have done the jeep safari twice It is brilliant and you will love it Yes you have to pay a little extra for water guns but the water fight is amazing You go to a beautiful waterfall And you eat at a family restaurant which is included… drinks are extra Private boat sunset This is lovely we paid £180 for the boat to ourselves got a tour of Marmaris and stopped off to swim on the sea and dinner and drinks included.
WiFi WiFi at the hotel is shit unless you’re in the lobby yes if you want it in your room it’s extra. We just go across the road to ago travel and rent a WiFi box then you get it when your out and about also.
Rooms:- we have had both a large family room which was massive but we never had a balcony and we have had a standard room. One was a shower one was a bath Can’t complain at either it was a room to sleep in I don’t spend thousands to stay in the room all day everyday.
Pools:- There is 4 pools 2 are the same depth 1 is more shallow with slides to it and then there is a even smaller one for babies The pools can get busy as it is a busy hotel The slides are on twice a day for an hour each time Yes the queues can get big but it’s give and take If they were on all the time that pool wouldn’t be available for smaller kids
Ice cream:- Included the guys serving it is lovely and friendly. Taste beautiful around 7 maybe different flavours to choose from Open 3 times a day
Sunbeds:- Yes I’m not going to lie there is a sunbed situation here. I don’t come on holiday to wake up at stupid o’clock everyday to worship the sun. We never had a problem getting them if we woke up later and there was none we ask the pool man and he would grab 2 for us. We are a family of 4 but the children shared ours as let’s be honest there in the water most the time. If others also thought like this there would be more sun beds to go around.
Entertainment:- Is something else Jay and his team work extremely hard and they are the main reason why we returned again and we will be coming back more They are super engaging with everyone and not just the kids They get people up and involved like water polo, killer pool, darts and more Yes they play games you need to pay for like deal or no deal open the box and football scratch card but if you don’t want to play then don’t simple. Evening entertainment is also brilliant. Comedy night , Turkish night, karaoke and more Curly and Oktay are our favourites 🙈 we have missed Jay this year but due to an accident he couldn’t be here.
Kids Club:- I can’t comment on as my kids didn’t want to go and I’m not one to ship them off when I come on holiday to spend time with them. I know during the day it’s free and the evening you need to pay for £5,£10 depending on what they have on.
Food:- Bloody Brilliant. Breakfast is the same selection every day but should be something for everyone Waffles, pancakes, cereal, bread, pastries, then your standard egg sausage hash etc etc Lunch time the main restaurant is open but we have never used it we always go to the snack bar outside it’s the best snack bar I have used in turkey. They have pizza burgers jacket potato chips pasta wraps and soooo much more Evening meals in restaurant yes it can get the same each night but they have a large selection to choose from and they have a kids section. My boy is every fussy and so can I be but there was something for us every night we never went hungry….
All in all it’s a very good hotel Yes it can get busy it’s the summer holidays kids are off school but we will be planning to come back again
A holiday is what...
