We arrived at Isla Apartments July 2024 and on arrival it looks modern and reception was most welcoming. Everything running so smoothly it was almost too good to be true. Then upon walking into our room 107 the nightmare began, on booking a 2 bedroom we only discover they had put us into a 1 bedroom. The bed was so uncomfortable in the room we slept on the sofa that in honesty I have had more comfort in a prison cell. Being on holiday we accepted this and tried to make the best of a bad situation. Then it come to looking around and the best words to explain this was simply WOW. The tv had a remote for a whole different tv and explaining this to reception they handed us new batteries, hmmmm. ‘The remote is for a different tv’. WTF The worktop looked like someone had been cutting on it with a battle axe. It had the worst stains on it I was contemplating it had been maybe used as a work bench. The cooking facilities were non existent, you won’t get that hob you paid for rather a cheap microwave. The induction fan looked like they picked it up in a scrap yard covered in rust. The sink was stained that bad that the toilet was actually cleaner than it, a rusty stainless tap?!? Who would believe it. Our shower door was smashed and later that day I discovered it on the roof outside my balcony, well the trims of it atleast. Showering was impossible it projected in every direction apart from at the person using it. The smell every day from the kitchen was sickening we kept the door closed to try prevent it. ||The slide for the kids was on for a very limited time in the day. No entertainment rather a forced bingo night every night at £5 or 200lira a ticket. They hassle you to buy the tickets and drag it out to keep yo u at the bar as long as possible, then calling the numbers you can’t even understand. The bar manager coco is so rude and obnoxious I am surprised he hasn’t been hit. He is very rude to women and children. We booked this place on a recommendation on a instagram page but to be honest I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to this hotel. I can go on all night about this place. I have below attached a few photos but this is a fraction of the problem. The one positive I can say is a few of the staff were pure and kind and I hope a nice hotel finds these guys Mehmet Mehmer and Alex they are too good of people to be dragged into this money grabbing establishment.||||If you do go here pay your bill dailly otherwise they will give you extra things on your bills and have you paying double bills. Keep your receipts. Sad you need to do this but the management will do anything to extort...

On the day we arrived, the staff we met came and introduced themselves, shook our hands and were happy to see us. We came at around 15 and the room was not ready. They told us to wait in the bar for 20-30 min. After 45 minutes, i went to the receptionist and he said 5 minutes. Finally, after one full hour, the room was "ready".
Whilst walking to the room, we saw flickering lights, lamps missing from their sockets, cleaning equipment and dirty laundry stacked on the floor with no cleaning service around.
Entering the room, we noticed that the walls had plenty of slash marks and was generally worn down on many places. The kitchen does not have any equipment for cleaning the few kitchen items available and the drying rack was moldy.
The toilet chair was nasty and not bolted to the floor and was wobbly, tiles around the mirror were missing as if torn off and the glass to the shower was very dirty. The shower was also filled with mold on the walls and constantly got clogged when used. The water also shifted from very warm to freezing cold every few seconds... The bathroom roof also looked like a hasty fix to cover up cables and tubes
The sheets on the bed had some nasty looking stains when we arrived and were never changed, only refitted during our week. We also received towels with dirt stains at one point that looked like someone had wiped the floors with them.
However, when my girlfriend and I travel, we only stay in the hotel during nighttime and to freshen up after the beach. We normally never eat or drink at the hotel restaurant/bar. Sometimes we use the pool for a little bit but not this time. When the staff noticed this, they stopped talking to us, ignored us and quickly looked away when we approached. There was only one person in the staff who did not do this... This guy did question why we never stayed in the hotel and that they never see us. We should honestly not have to receive this question. First of all, it is an apartment hotel and secondly, we're on vacation and we will go wherever we feel like without having to explain why - especially not to the hotel staff.
The only good thing we feel about this hotel is it's location as it has a food store in front, lays close to the beach. It is also a short walk from the city center and nightlife.
We don't recommend this hotel to anyone who plans on enjoying the hotel facilities more than to freshen up before going out...

From the very first day the staff were extremely unaccommodating and rude to my family. Despite booking a two bedroom apartment, we were given a one bedroom apartment and our original room was given to someone else. The room we were given was completely inadequate for my family. The children slept on hard and uncomfortable sofas which had torn sheets. The room was extremely dirty with hairs in the sink and a filthy toilet. There were also health and safety hazards as one of the fire alarms was covered up and the other fire alarm had exposed wires.
When I insisted to be moved to the room I paid for, the staff including the manager and the owner of the hotel swore at me and my family. They decided to do nothing despite the fault being on their part. I have never been so ill-treated by anyone in my life. The mental grief and stress that was caused to me and my family, on what would have otherwise been a relaxing holiday, can never be forgotten. The hotels first and only priority is robbing customers of their money regardless of any consequences. The animals roaming around the hotel were treated better than my family was which attests to the nature of the managers at the hotel.
Furthermore, any hotel which charges customers for AC in a country where temperatures exceed 35 degrees is utterly inhumane. It is even more unethical not to mention this on the official hotel website which further proves the hotel’s priority is money alone and...
