The hotel is very beautiful, with spacious, clean rooms (and bathroom), with nice furniture, pleasant view from the balcony and comfortable beds. Staff is very friendly and kind, especially at Gusto Prive Lounge. Food in the hotel is very good, but again, the best food quality and service is in the Gusto Prive Lounge (which is included in the all inclusive concept for the guests from the rooms in the main building and villas). Green areas around the hotel are beautiful, beach is very nice, but the entrance to the sea is a little bit unpleasant because of the stones (but only directly from the beach, there are also stairs from the ponton). We were almost the whole time at the beach, but for the people that like the pool, just be careful because the tiles at the pool area are pretty slippery, although the pool area is very nice and well equipped, but that is the only minus. Location of the hotel is great, it is 10 minutes away from Bodrum city center by dolmush (the station is in front of the hotel and the price in one direction is 50 TL per person). ||And I would especially like to share my experience regarding the spa center in the hotel. Mr. Gokhan introduced me to their program. He defined my needs after one glance at me. I must say that I did not expect too much. But the time I spent in the spa was incredible part of every day during my holiday.|Atmosphere is pleasant in every possible aspect. Subtle relaxing music, adequate light, nice scents and polite and pleasant staff. Mrs. Nazgul has magic hands. Her professional experience is applied in every touch: whether for relaxation, lymphatic drainage or pain relief in therapy treatment. I felt all the time like I am on the cloud, between the sleep and reality. After massages I felt like a feather and it was an incredible feeling. There are two saunas in the spa and I liked them very much.|All other premises are comfortable, clean and always well equipped.|It was really delightful and I am not exaggerating if I say it was one of the three best massages in my life. I am not an expert, but I have been coming to Turkey more than twenty years and I go to spa every time - in different hotels and different towns, and I can compare my personal feeling after those treatments. I want to thank the whole team for their...
Read moreWe are currently staying at the Norm 8th to 18th so paid a significant amount to stay at a 5* resort. Unfortunately I didn’t acknowledge all the “great” reviews were not from English travellers. If you are English I would recommend booking somewhere else, we have not felt welcome at all. The resort is full of Turkish residents or Russian we are the only family from England. Nobody understands basic English or speaks it so getting anything you need is impossible. If you don’t drink cows milk there is no understanding of any other milk options so no coffee available. Not to mention the lifetime you have to wait simply to be asked if you want a drink. No adults are allowed in the kids water park which is set back from the main pool so in order to supervise your child you have to suffer the heat sat beside the pool. The cocktail menus don’t exist only on a QR code and then they still don’t load, no bartender can communicate so you end up with something you don’t want and half the glass is pure alcohol. The room is a superior bungalow but unfortunately not superior. It was booked for 2 adults and a child and we arrived at 9:30pm the child’s bed wasn’t made and only enough amenities for 2 people. There is absolutely no food options for children. Good luck getting a table in the main Buffett it seems they don’t have enough tables for the number of guests staying. The entertainment does not exist it’s simply live music every night of the week. We have travelled extensively and to not have shows or entertainment each night is unusual. The kids disco? Well that’s non existent too just the kids gathered in the entrance way of the kids club centre In a circle with adults having to stand on the side to supervise. Aesthetically I think is the only reason this place is 5*. To spend 10 nights here feels like we have completely wasted our family holiday. ||We have been left to deal with ourselves, stared at and made to feel fully unwelcome and I can only put it down to us being the only English...
Read moreWe were looking for a relaxing family break and that’s what we got, travelling with a 14 year old and 10 year old. The family bungalow was spacious and gorgeous (we were pleasantly impressed) and the grounds were beautiful. The food options were good, with the beach restaurant at lunch time being a firm favourite to break up the buffet style dining (which I’m not a huge fan of). The staff we interacted with were all lovely, there were some service issues with dishes ordered not arriving, waiting for drinks etc. but I think we were the first influx of guests from the UK and we were on holiday so we really weren’t phased by it. ||There wasn’t much going on by way of entertainment but thankfully our 10 year old made some friends and they all managed to make their own entertainment, playing on the waterpark and popping into the kids club to see what activities were on offer. I have to say, she had an incredible holiday because the grounds are quite compact and very safe so she had freedom to roam safely from pool to waterpark etc. with her new friends. Plus, there was CCTV everywhere which was very reassuring.||We used one a la carte restaurant during our stay and it was beautiful, I would definitely recommend the Turkish a la carte if you’re wondering which to go for. The setting was beautiful! ||My absolute FAVOURITE thing was the beach vibe. For me, it made the holiday. We never struggled for a comfortable sunbed by the sea, the DJ played some great music, the drinks were served in beautiful glasses - it felt very luxurious and like a real treat. There wasn’t much of a vibe round the pools - the beach was definitely a huge highlight for the whole family. The only reason I’m giving this hotel four stars is because of the lack of daytime/evening activity for families, I do feel if I went back to this hotel in a couple of months, it would be much (much) better and I think service would be much slicker and quicker. Would we return as a family?...
