First of all a special mention to Demet ozturk at breakfast, every morning she was very smiley and welcoming and went out of her way to help including making more pancakes at the end of breakfast for me even after the pan had been cleaned! She is an asset to the hotel and seemed to always be busy. She definitely deserves a promotion or raise!
The hotel is obviously very nice, well designed and helpful staff which you would expect at a 5 * chain hotel. I would however say a few issues need addressing which would improve the guests experience.
Jacuzzi - looks lovely but freezing cold and no bubbles so no one uses it! Who wants to sit in a cold jacuzzi? Spa area- beautiful however no hooks near showers for towels to be hung and no machine to get water which is really necessary near a sauna. Also on entering the spa we were not shown where things were we just were expected to find our own way which isn't what you expect. Sauna is good and nice pool just you have to wear a swim cap to use.
Rooms- Need to be better equipt as had to call reception to ask for items like a hairdryer, robe, extra pillows. In a 5 star hotel you expect these things in the room. Howevrr housekeeping was very efficient and bought these items to the room when requested. The fridge was also not cold enough and there is a balcony but hotel policy doesnt allow you to open the door to use it unless you have a smoking room. (Its locked shut and reception are not allowed to give the key) This is a shame for non smokers who just want to enjoy the balcony. Bins in the bathrooms were open with no lid which isnt ideal as often he bathroom bin is used for female hygiene products and these are things you don't want to be on show. Bathroom bins should always have a lid.
We had 2 rooms during our stay and one of the rooms there was many different lights which we liked however because of the wiring you had to have all the lights on or none which was no pleasant if your getting up in the night for the toilet or just want a reading light.
On calling reception they were very helpful sometimes there was some confusion due to the language barrier but someone was always sent albeit with sometimes quite a wait but that is understandable.
Room service was very good the food was well presented and tasty and it was nice that the prices were the same as the restaurant.
Overall we enjoyed our stay but would next time try somewhere else just to get a warm jacuzzi as that's why I like a spa hotel. The hotel toiletries are very nice and all natural, the ability to link your phone to the tv is very good and the bed was comfortable. Overall the staff were very good especially the cleaning staff they were all...
Read moreBe cautious if you give a deposit or make any other payment to this establishment, such as fees for a second guest.
When I arrived, I paid €200 as a deposit and €110 for the second person’s fees (including breakfast and hotel charges). I was never given a receipt for this payment, and they didn’t return the €5 difference (I paid €110, they claimed it was €105).
Upon checkout, this establishment scammed me by falsely claiming I hadn’t paid the full amount for the second guest — which is untrue. They deducted the supposed difference from my €200 deposit.
They showed me CCTV footage where I’m seen placing €200 on the counter — which they accepted as the deposit. As for the €110, the video only shows me handing over a pile of bills. The staff then claimed that this pile only contained €90, even though I had indeed given €110.
At checkout, they deducted the “missing” amount from my deposit. Initially, they wanted to give me back only €150 and 25 or 30 Turkish Lira. I expressed my dissatisfaction multiple times, and insisted on being refunded in euros, since I had paid in euros and the Turkish Lira is weaker.
This is clearly either a scam targeting tourists or theft by one of their employees.
Always ask for a receipt to protect yourself, or pay by credit card so you have the necessary proof in case something like this happens.
Although the hotel claims to have surveillance footage—which I have also seen—how can they possibly see through a bundle of banknotes and determine the exact amount it contained? In the video, my partner hands the bundle of cash to the employee, and that’s where it ends. At no point is it possible to know exactly how much money was in that bundle. Your claim that it was €90 is false. I know exactly how much I gave as payment, and I find it a blatant lack of ethics to claim that I did not pay the amount due when everything was in fact paid.
Why did the employee never give me a receipt? Had I paid by credit card, I would have received one. There is clearly a need to improve the way you handle cash payments from your clients, which would have prevented this situation and the inconvenience I’m now facing.
Furthermore, the amount of 25–30 TRY was initially offered to me by the male employee along with a sum of €150–155. However, 25–30 TRY is in no way equivalent to euros. The Turkish lira has a much lower value and cannot be compared...

Picked this hotel for a business stop over due to glowing reviews on Google but was sorely disappointed.
Late check I stayed for one night on 27-28 March 2023. Due to a late flight, I called the reception TWICE and requested late check out until 6-8pm. They said it'd be €70, I said OK and everything was fine. When I came to lobby at 8pm, they told me ₺3200 (around €150+) for the reason I stayed until 8pm. There were 4 staff members at the reception (3 male and 1 female) and after a further waste of 10mins and call to their manager I paid €70. Example one.
Buffet Breakfast Very nicely displayed with a lot of cheap stuff and little hot options e.g. lots of bread, chopped up vegetables and salads in each bowl, different types of cereals, cheeses, salami etc. Was rushing for a meeting and wanted to take the coffee with me. I was stopped by 2 staff who instructed that I finish it there or they will change the cup and send to my room. 20mins in my room, no coffee, called back. finally after 30mins someone came and said "It's free this time but not next time". Never seen a 5* hotel with such strict cup policies.
Hotel Room Pillows are super uncomfortable, and super high. The room was 26 degrees when I arrived, I had to immediately open the balcony door which turned out to be a 2-in-1 window/door thing that can only be fully opened with a key. It took 4 hours for the room to cool down. Furthermore the drain in the shower needs to be unclogged.
Swimming pool Receptionist tried to make me buy a swimming cap at the pool. When I went to the pool nobody was wearing a swimming cap.
Good luck to you if you choose...
