Melekli Konak — Hotel in Pirinççi Mahallesi

I picked this place randomly for a one night short stay while driving across country. The first impression before I step in was that "I need to find another place and forget about the refund!" The neighborhood did not look anything like where a nice place maybe as it is narrow and not touristic. But, I thought let me give it the benefit of a doubt and peak inside while my family wait for me in the car. A backup plan was already forming in my head for an alternative place to stay. As soon as I took the first step in, that thought disappeared. ||||Once you are inside the garden, you feel like you are in a historic country house. Even the weather seemed nicer in the garden than right out of the door!||||I walked in and found out that they have only 4 rooms where we booked 3 out of them (family of 6)||||The room was just as beautiful and actually I regretted staying for one night only.||||Yes it is old and historic. Yet newly renovated where it is a unique mixture between history and new.||||Actually I double checked the booking process as I felt it is way under charged when I actually seen it.||||This is when I realized it is also including breakfast. Now breakfast was way above my expectations as I would pay pretty close to the total charge just for a breakfast of this quality and atmosphere (Garden served).||||||I don't like not mentioning improvement pointers, so here it goes:||1 - Parking would be nice if it is actually a parking lot and not in the street with half of the car on the curb. ||||2 - Screens on the windows to prevent bugs coming in during the night (we had to use the AC to keep mosquitos out)||||3 - Window blinds to totally cut out the sun light - I can't sleep when the sun is out.||||Other than this it is...

As'Salamu alaikum, We stayed at Melekli Konak, Amasya in end August 2023. It is the most precious place. The location is close to the center (5min by feet, 1min to the river). It is very quiet as well The room are so beautiful, beds and pillows very comfortable. Bathrooms are spacious, clean and modern. Staff are really nice and available. Breakfast was amazing, and the Turkish coffee is simply a must have. Overall, i would dream to go visit Amasya again, and would stay at the same place...

Karadeniz turumuzu dönüşte Amasya ile bitirmeye karar vermiştik. İyi ki de öyle yapmışız. 20 Ocak 2024 te burada 1 gece konakladık. Pansiyonu son anda tesadüfen google dan bulduk. Tek gece konaklama yapacağımız için sessiz sakin ve makul fiyatlı bir yere ihtiyacımız vardı. Görebildiğimiz kadarı ile çoğu pansiyon gibi eski Amasya evlerinden restore edilerek dönüştürülmüş. Kesinlikle iyi ısınıyordu( merkezi sistem). Klima sesli olduğu için biraz çalıştırıp kapattık. Gerek kalmadı. Küçük buzdolabını ihtiyacımız olmadığı için fişini çektik hafif ses yapıyordu. Oda ve banyo tertemizdi. 4 odası da dolu olmasına ve Ahşap bina olmasına rağmen sessiz ve sakindi. Akşam geç saatte rezervasyonsuz çat kapı gittik. Şansımıza yer bulduk. Yarı dönem tatili nedeniyle hafta sonu olduğu için( hava da iyi olunca) kış dönemi olmasına rağmen Amasya görece kalabalıktı. Tek gün kalınacaksa Akşam varış yapmak kesinlikle tercih edilebilir. Çünkü şehir gece ışıkları ile çok fotojenik.

Gülşah hanımla sabah sohbetimizde özellikle bedelli askerlik yemin törenleri dönemlerinde Amasya’nın kalabalıklaştığını öğrendik. Gitmeden önce bu durumu kontrol etmekte fayda olabilir.
