After 12 years of touring Turkish resorts and hotels, we came across this one. Let me note that one of the hotels we visited was redone and battered in different years. I'm not good at writing reviews, but somehow with this hotel I got a huge urge. Let me first express my thanks to the staff and reception for curtseying to my wife during our stay. The hygiene in the rooms is up to par. The staff is friendly. The water in the pools is of satisfactory quality. The parking lot is convenient, large and of course with shade. But... the food is under all criticism. In practice, all inclusive includes only breakfast and dinner. Lunch is improvised under a canopy consisting of… fries, onion rings and some other vegetable. Fruits are abundant. Chicken meat is present every day, in the same way - tasteless, without appearance... just to be there. The rest of the food is also tasteless - uniform and looking from miles away that it is from the previous dinner or breakfast. For the pasta, just sentence the chef to life in prison. My children cook it tastier. The cooked fish-horror. For the first time in a 5-star hotel, I was served sea mackerel for dinner. The cheapest and worst tasting fish. The drinks are a complete failure. Queues for a beer or drink - it's worth it. Morning control of the mini bar (it killed me) - an aunt comes by to check and record what I consumed from the mini bar, as it was "extra pay". For the first time, in a 5 star hotel to pay for water, coffee and drinks from the mini bar??? For some aunt to enter my room while my family and I are there and to "control mini bar" - for me it is a complete shock and insulting. About the animation - it is there to resemble the other hotels. Round zero. An absolute travesty. Don't forget to bring mosquito and hornet repellants (the hotel sells them, but they are expensive). There are plenty of them. The mosquitoes are so numerous and large that when they land on the fence, the dogs bark at them. Along the north side of the hotel runs a water canal overgrown with papuri, from which comes a stench and swarms of mosquitoes. You can use the aqua park, but consumption of water, drinks and food in it is not included in the all inclusive and you should pay accordingly. Extremely uncomfortable. In general, for the first time on an all-inclusive in Turkey, maybe you will like it and like it, but for those who have visited Turkish resorts and hotels, this is a low-budget hotel that does not in any way justify the expectations and the invested funds. They hand out cards for beach towels at the front desk, but I am asked for the cards when you pick up towels in the morning. You take as much as you want. in this situation, guests massively abuse and take towels in excess. In the morning, they leave towels on the sunbeds on the beach and sunbeds by the pools. The sunbed war in disgusting. I watched a clip in a hotel in Didim, how a member of the staff collects beach towels left on sunbeds. In Aqua Fantasy this is super imperative and must happen. This has been the most boring and unwanted holiday in Turkey so far for us, we can't wait to leave. Sorry but we wouldn't go there again.

A Truly Memorable Stay – Beyond Our Expectations! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We recently stayed at Aqua Fantasy Hotel and had an absolutely amazing experience—so much so that I felt compelled to write a review and give a special shout-out to some incredible staff members who truly made our holiday unforgettable. First and foremost, I would love to thank Volkan at reception, who gave us an incredible first impression at check-in—even though it was nearly 2 a.m.! Despite the late hour, he was kind, thoughtful, and welcoming. He even asked if we were hungry and offered assistance with genuine empathy and professionalism. You could tell he really cared. His warm approach and extensive knowledge made us feel right at home from the very beginning. Next, I want to thank Talhan from the Balık A La Carte Restaurant. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and the hotel in general. He didn’t just serve the food—he gave us a full experience, explaining every dish with care and helping us choose what best suited our taste. He made us feel genuinely special and taken care of. Also, a very special thanks to Aysegul at the Health Desk. She was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and approachable. She knew exactly how to balance being informative and supportive without being overwhelming. Her professionalism and positive attitude really stood out, and she played a big role in making our stay even more enjoyable and comfortable. We’d also like to thank Irmak, whose cheerful and positive energy added such a warm touch to our stay. She made every interaction feel uplifting and memorable, and her presence truly brightened our experience. I also want to thank Ömer from the Oasis Restaurant, where we had our breakfast, lunch, and dinner most days. Ömer was always warm, respectful, and very attentive. He made sure we felt comfortable and valued every time we visited. We also had a lovely experience with Mehmet at the Chinese A La Carte, and the team at the Steakhouse A La Carte was just as kind, helpful, and attentive. What truly stood out during our stay was the overall attitude of the entire staff. Everyone we encountered was cheerful, approachable, and incredibly helpful. They struck the perfect balance between being attentive and giving us space. They were always proactive—asking if we needed anything—without ever making us feel overwhelmed. The facilities were excellent, with a wide range of activities for both adults and children. Our 3.5-year-old son had a blast, especially at the water park and kids’ play areas. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful greenery, which adds to the relaxing atmosphere. One small heads-up: there are mosquitoes in the area, which seems to be a general issue in Kuşadası, not specific to the hotel. But the hotel does their best to manage it. All in all, our stay at Aqua Fantasy was far beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend it to families, especially those with small children. If I could rate it higher than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Thank you again to the amazing team for making our holiday so special—we’ll definitely come back when we can afford it again. Thanks,

Both my family and myself had the pleasure of staying at Aqua Fantasy between the 7th and 19th June 2025. All I can say is that I have never stayed in a resort like this which has such exceptional staff, and I mean all of them. There is no bad day for them at and this is the main reason I am giving 5 stars or 10 out of 10. They really made the holiday. I will talk about the hotel shortly, but wanted to call out a few people and for the hotel management a huge kudos for such a motivated team. Firstly, the legend of the dining hall, Omur. He was truly a great host and he was always there to support. Even on his day off he and his lovely wife helped us (he will know who we are now). Thank you Omur. The Crocs Kids Club was great and I just wished we had not waited until the second week for our 11 and 3 year to join. They loved it and it was our fault they did not go straight away. I wish I knew the 2 ladies names but I do not. The lady who I think runs the kids club and also the shorter lady who was always dressed in amazing outfits for the kids disco where just amazing. But the rest of the team where great, it was just who my 2 girls spent their time with. Also, again not knowing the name I wanted to thanks the guest service lady who helped me with my daughter 11th Birthday. She loved it and will always remember it. I will try to not mention to many more team members, but also the cleaning staff who looked after our rooms (2403 and 2471) where amazing. Rooms where an OK size and we had as requested to very quiet rooms which we are grateful for. In terms of the resort itself, it is vast and well laid out. Pools clean and the little one loved the small kids pool. The adults only pool is so quiet and was a nice place to go to relax. Also, the Aqua Park was the main reason for booking and it did not disappoint. It was great fun and brought smiles to all faces. We did not use the beach. Normally I am a beach person but was not really a fan of it here (maybe I have been spoiled elsewhere). Entertainment both in the days and evenings was great. The whole family loved it. Well done the animation team. In terms of food, the food was of a good quality and as happens in some places, NOT over salted which is good. Will come back to food later. Couple of other points to highlight is the gym, big in size with good equipment and also the fact that whilst there is a Spa, the Spa team was not harassing us. This is always an issue in other places. There are a couple of areas for development. Whilst food quality was good, the lack of vegan options should be considered along with this strange race that happens in the evening for the bigger cakes. In the main food area there does need to be service for the kids area, only one evening where we hosted here by a lovely lady, but this was a one off. Lastly another opportunity would be the mini bar service. Was not always done and would have been good if they can work on the system. Overall, would recommend. Perfect, maybe not. However, the staff really do make the difference. Again, well done everyone and thank you for an amazing experience.

Very disappointed in this hotel, the hotel it’s self is very clean and nice looking however the room cleans are terrible. We would never return here.

ants in the room with staff not able to do a good clean after room treatment

-the attitude of the reception staff & cleaners are terrible (they will tell you the room is finished when there is clearly dirt and hair on the floor as it had not been cleaned)

Rooms do not have childproof locks so very easy access to the balcony as the children’s rooms are attached to balcony

-The entertainment isn’t very good (apart from beach party) and if you have small children it starts too late

Aqua park looked good we didn’t get to experience it due to them not advertising the height restrictions they say it’s 1.2m but here in the Uk my son gets on all 1.2m rides (he’s 6) and couldn’t use it so was very upset. Also not all rides operate at this time of year even though they sat until October 31st.

food is shocking! For a 5* I had expectations not high I’m not fussy but unless your happy with chips chips and chips then your good.

breakfast finishes 9.30 so if you are from the UK and getting use to the 2 hour time difference you miss breakfast and what’s left at late breakfast is terrible.

never thought I’d say this but far to much alcohol in one drink over half and not enjoyable didnt find the perfect holiday drink

Ice cream is not available all day only between 2pm- 4pm & 7pm-9pm no slush or anything like that

the al a carte Italian is not worth the booking promise the all inclusive is better.. and that’s saying something

don’t offend the staff about the hotel they will call the police

the pools are ICE cold, the sea is warmer The pool entertainment at this time of year isn’t anything good either.

the beach isn’t picturesque nor is it clear you can’t use anything to look under the water as it’s volcanic ash beach & smells foul

you cannot walk out anywhere out the complex as it’s remote with nothing around

The shop has very little snacks etc to purchase and the snack bar that is 00:00 is terrible I did raise this complaint as stale bread and cold pasta did not go down well

town is 15 mins in a taxi personally didn’t like the yacca restaurant that you can eat in for a free taxi there and back.

very expensive take a lot of spending money we spent over £1200 in one week

does not smell nice smells like sewage

long transfer times & will rip you off in the Turkish airport if they think they can get away with it.

coach transfer had over booked by 6 people so had children illegally on knees without seatbelts

ensure you have travel insurance

Pros we returned 25/10/23 weather was just right early 20s in the mornings no higher then 25 but warm.

-towel service available

plenty of sunbeds at this time of year not busy at all

-pear bar is the best for lunch time food however it’s a shame this isn’t open for evening meals this food was always better (but worse for flies sitting on the food)

hotel it’s self very clean staff cleaning 24 hrs

10euro taxi into town just ask at the desk

-shops available for fake brands reasonable cheaper in town at this time of year they do clearance price and really good fakes if you like that sort of thing

the Sunbed areas also smelt dirty although staff kept it very tidy with plates and cups etc & have spots to leave these around so it is never untidy

Rooms are modern with small fridge which is reloaded with big water bottles every day

entertainment staff are friendly - more so if you tip them including any other staff they appear very greedy like that.

TUI rep available via reception and message

hotel have a WhatsApp number which is well spoken English and can text for room issues or any other communication

foggy bottom bar is great if you get a bunch of you in there late kids where allowed in it does say adult only but this was never the case (but it was October so not overly busy)

-plenty of drink available and staff that will make...

Aqua Fantasy is a beautiful resort. When we first pulled up outside our first impression was WOW!! It looked absolutely stunning. Check in was a breeze and we were swiftly taken up our room on a golf buggy.||We went for 2 weeks, and the first week we had a few days of overcast and rain. The weather was about 5 degrees Celsius below average for October so it was a little cooler than we were expecting weather wise. The second week was dry and sunny but cold at night. We still got the sun though! ||Our room was ground floor right by the pool. We had a family room. The beds were really comfortable and plenty of pillows. The room was immaculate and the housekeeping team done an amazing job, making up the beds, and refreshing the towels every day, as-well as keeping it clean. ||The whole resort is kept immaculate by a great team of workers who take pride in their work. ||The pools were great never an issue getting sun loungers any time of day. Some people complained about the water being cold. It was fine once you’re in, it’s the getting in that is the problem lol we were in the pool most days and my daughter loved playing water polo.||The beach is absolutely stunning we also went most days in the morning then up to the pool after lunch. Never an issue getting sun loungers any time down there too. The sea was warmer than the pool lol. There is also a pier you can walk along and at sunset you can take the most amazing sunset pictures. ||The food was amazing. Great choices and the desserts were delicious too. We went to the Steak al a carte which was really good. We had booked the Asian restaurant for our last night and there was some mix up with guest relations as when we went down it was closed. ||The night time entertainment was a huge let down. It was at the beach area, not enough seats for all the guests and the few nights we dud manage to catch it, it wasn’t great. I think it would be better if they had more guest participation entertainment instead of dance troupes etc. the Oktoberfest event they put on was fantastic. The bingo is a joke. They charge 5€ for a ticket and the prizes are things you get as part of your all inclusive anyway like a cocktail or use of the al a carte restaurant. The Irish bar has nothing Irish about it. It’s just a bar that lacks any personality apart from the 2 nights karaoke that was on in there over the 2 weeks. ||We were so underwhelmed by the entertainment we ended up booking to go to the planet yucca live twice which is advertised everywhere in the hotel and a man called Mario asks all the guests if they want to go. He provides a free shuttle down and back, you only pay for your food and drinks. You can also go and do a bit of shopping whilst you are there if you wish. ||The lobby bar does the most amazing cocktails. They also have a good selection of beers too. ||The pearl restaurant between the pools and beach was lovely but unfortunately plagued by wasps and hornets and other insects so we couldn’t use it as we got stung a few times same as the outdoor area at the main buffet restaurant. ||My daughter and I went to the spa which was a lovely experience. I went again as it was so good and also my birthday when I was there.||My birthday was a lovely experience. The maids made me a birthday cake from towels and I was gifted a fruit platter and a bottle of wine courtesy of the resort, thank you. We also went to the steak al a carte for dinner that night. ||The water park is separate from the hotel and although you get free entry you can’t use your all inclusive. You have to pay for food and drinks. We only went twice as they are very strict. My daughter is only 12 and was asked to remove her swim top as it had a zip and she refused as she had nothing on underneath and was also asked to be weighed for some of the slides that were two person. And found the experience uncomfortable and didn’t want to go back over. ||Other than a few things it was an overall good relaxing holiday. Set in a beautiful location. Great for families with...

A good 4, not a 5. TOP sailing club & great amenities. Un bon 4,pas un 5.Excellent club nautique, bien équipé I would like to say i’ll come back, but the catastrophic house keeping and beding (very tough) makes me wonder…On the other hand, food services staff of the hotel are good. WE HAD FUN ! All details below. I did rate a 2 for service because of housekeeping of the rooms (otherwise it's good). Room's accoustic medium (especially the door). En FRANCAIS ci-dessous.

Sailing club : My 2 kids had their very first windsurf lessons at Sailing club (right handside when u reach the beach). Appreciated, « Goksel » took the time to e xplain everything before booking. Result: kids very happy (very good teaching, impressive how he managed both kids in same time, good contact). Rent Catamaran, windsurf… appreciated, sailing club is well maintained, clean, all materials aligned… bravo Pool & beach(soft sand): well maintained. Harder to find sunbeds at pools than on the beach. Nice sea (depends on wind -usual-) Aquapark: a short 4 minutes walk from lobby. Very good, everyb ody enjoyed it. Sunbeds are free for hotel’s residents, but not drinks or food (hotel will supply you a chargeable card though). Tip : the Flamingo’s pool-bar of the resort just a few meters of the entrance. Most of slides are with buoyes 1 seat & 2 seats (to collect there n there). Most of slides for min.120cm and 2 seats buoys -check panels-. Also, they have an aquapark for younger kids-toodlers (+ at hotel). Bars : Friendly. You might not get what you ordered, that’s the charm… smile and re-explain :-) Restaurants: at the hotel (main) + 1 between beach and pool. Food is good (some days much better than others), staff friendly. At main restaurant entrance you’ll have few turkish speciality (oven);, each day a different speciality at outdoor (straight coming out at terrace) and grills (outdoor) at a « square ». Otherwise, typical buffet with large choice. A note regarding deserts : disappointing (staff behind desert counter too). Mr. Chef taste your fruits, Turkye have great fruits! The second restaurant : snacky-type, wide choice, kids were always happy. Hotel have some water-slides for small kids, mini-golf, volley… and animations at night (was ok, but it’s the first time I saw a mini-club where kids are not on stage… the animators are doing the show on stage and … the public are the kids ..!?). Cleaning in the resort & hotel: okay. Many hands dispensers. Tips: Housekeeping for better service : unless you wait or you are in the room and « guide » (works especially for families with childs that come often to rooms), I strongly advise you call reception (might be 2 calls) and request what you need (even it’s end of the day), keep it friendly but ferm. Do not hesitate, it works. Restaurant: get your own water at drinks dispensers, not from pitchers. We had a very friendly person at « daily speciality ». He will serve you "with heart" and precisely what you want (quantity). Pearl snack restaurant: go early (especially if you are a kid!) Waterpark: mostly crowded the afternoon. Open to public. Lockers are at the main entrance (opposite to the resort’s entrance), have your chargeable card for drinks, locker or rent the 3 seats booyey.

Plus difficile de trouver des chaises-longues (et parasols) aux piscines qu'à la plage. -Aquapark : A 4 minutes de la réception, bien entretenu, nombreux toboggans (pour min.120cm),...
