I recently camped at this peaceful riverside spot in Jinja. The kind of place that doesn’t try too hard—to get things right, because it's pitched as somewhere you can create your own experience within a natural environment. If you’re looking for a five-star resort, this isn’t it—and that’s the point.||You’re right next to the Nile, with the sound of flowing water in the background and birds tweeting through short trees where they’ve built their nests that are constantly swaying in a breeze of air. Mornings are quiet and slow. You will find yourself sipping tea while watching mini white waves crashing over each other on the river surface. Simple, but it stayed with me.||What I really appreciated is that you’re left to create your own experience. You can pitch your own tent (which they helped me setup) or use one provided, and once you're settled, no one hovers. You’re free to explore, relax, or just do nothing—freedom.||There’s a dipping pool. I didn't have a chance to experience the camp fire this time round because it was raining in the night, but there are a number of cozy spots with couches to unwind. Some guests were playing table tennis and badminton while I was gazing at my phone . . . ahem!||The NileIt team is always nearby when you need a drink or something to eat, but otherwise, they let you be. The toilets and showers are clean, with warm water—which adds a layer of basic comfort.||It’s for people who want to unplug, who enjoy nature without fuss, and who find joy in doing things their own way in a calm environment. Whether you're traveling solo, with a partner, or even a small group of friends, it's a space that gives back what you bring into it.||I just really enjoyed a quiet experience after weeks of stress in Kampala—and figured someone...
Read moreAbsolutely stunning place with a view on the Nile river! We found it by coincidence on our way when we had to shorten our trip for the day due to delay on our route and didn’t want to drive at night, but we wished we knew this place on forehand! The staff are super friendly and helped us out at the last moment. In their tiny kitchen they were able to cook great dishes and their menu is varied and comprehensive. The social area is beautifully decorated under a thatched roof with a view deck on top. The even so nicely built sanitary facilities have a segregated male/female part with hot showers, toilets and sinks, 2 of each and are very clean. We were able to drive our car with rooftop tents in the garden where you can also pitch your tent. The area is well maintained with lots of flowers, plants and birds. There are some picknick tables around, as well as some hammocks and a nice seating area and a small pool. The 2 dogs on the premises are very sweet and friendly and will find you for some cuddles. All in all highly recommend if you stay in the area of Jinja! Petra en Deven en het hele team,...

Hard to use as a staying place if you are visiting other attractions in Jinja. Clean and comfortable beds and sheets. Well kept tents. Rest rooms are super. Well kept surrounding. A small swimming pool. Nice view of the river infront of the facility. A terrace to enjoy the surrounding landscape from birds eye view. Even at knight you can hear voice for nile, place are very very good, and they are staff very very comparative we had a stay of knight in tent, we enjoy a lot We had a stay in on 25 and 26 dec 2022, it's great holiday Your own food and drinks are not allowed, and the restaurant's food is not the best. It is away from the Jinja Town. But still they allowed to make a food karoko they take around 90k for give some sigadi and charkoal and some food for uncooked you can make your self, if you have some big group so I can prefer you cook your self, that experience also very very good but who like cooking utis better for them,...
