Be aware there may not be running water or electricity. They have a generator, but during our stay they had ran out of petrol very quickly, so no running water which makes for a sticky hot night with no water to wash up the next morning. The tent/washroom accommodations are ok. But if you have a large group and need the extra tents, they will be staying in little pup tents. We did not know that’s where they would put part of our large group, so if you have a large group make sure you ask ahead of time where they’ll be staying. The food was good. They also do make sure that you’re careful walking around especially at night because you are in a game park and there are wild animals. The road to get there was also closed, so we had to cut through the village and create our own road. Hopefully by now this has been fixed (if you plan to stay, call and ask about this because we almost couldn’t make it through). I understand the road being closed was not their fault but a phone call to let us know of the road problem would have been nice to know ahead of time. Every day, I could hear a hippo grunting in the river nearby, which never stopped being amazing. And one night, a group of monkeys passed right by my room.
