Hotel Good News — Hotel in Central

Situated along Oyite Ojok road, this hotel is no more than an ordinary hotel, it has no designated parking , it structures don't cater for people with disabilities and the food is as ordinary as the surrounding restaurants. However, their tea lives up to the standard, but you can't get cappuccino and the likes from this place. It's good for travellers just for spending a few nights there but it wouldn't be the best place to have an after party or a birthday or a bridal shower nor a baby shower. The toilets are hygienic but don't cater for all needs of every client for example, if you are a Moslem, it will be hard for you to have proper ablution. If you ask me whether,I can recommend anything at this hotel, I will say that please go there to attend a conference if it's organised or take only tea and go back home. A hotel in Lira town. Friendly staff, value for money pricing. Restaurant with good food. Veranda seating available. Good WiFi signal all around the hotel. Very functional rooms with all facilities that a business traveler needs but not for a holiday maker. Clean with good security. Parking is on the street but there are two armed guards keeping watch hopefully throughout the night. Owing to it's location within the busy town centre, there's a bit of noise especially if you are on the wing...

Probably the best in Lira as far as the standard and amenities. The executive and deluxe rooms have air conditioning units in them. The rooms are clean, with firm mattress on the beds, and sells contained. I stayed with a team of foreigners and rented 10 rooms. No one complained about their room. We were a large enough group that we arranged buffet meals. They were timely, tasty and with a large selection of local dishes and meats. The staff are friendly...
