I spent a night in BK Suites when placed there by a neighboring hotel (Marie’s Royale) that had overbooked and did not have space. So I admit that I started with some bias.|But this is what the room (so called suite) was lacking:|1. Space - the bed just fitted into the bedroom part - there as a bedside cabinet (2 drawers), a wall-mounted A/C and nothing else, because there was no space. |2. Place to put luggage - I squeezed my suitcase into a corner, opening it on the floor. If I had not had a cabin baggage size bag, I am not sure what I would have done.|3. Cupboard - the other room had a coffee table, wall mounted TV, 3 chairs, a bar fridge and a sink. No cupboard of any kind.|4. A shower cubicle. The shower in the tiny bathroom west everything - you have to leave the toilet paper outside, and certainly any toiletries.|5. Bathroom cabinet or any place to put toiletries that wouldn’t get wet - so I had to put them in the sink in the sitting area.|6. A tea/coffee tray - there was a kettle, and a couple of glasses, but no mugs, teaspoons, or anything with which to make coffee or tea.|7. A rubbish bin - this was provided when I asked.|8. Windows that sealed - air and more significantly noise came in through the closed windows. The noise was a problem because of the nearby night club that played loud music until the early hours of the morning.|To add to this, when I returned late in the evening, after a long day, I found my room as I had left it in. No service or cleaning had happened. When I enquired about this, the response was that I took my key with me. Apart from the fact that there as no indication that I should leave it, it was an electronic card key so the hotel could easily duplicate it.|Fortunately the original hotel I booked in found space for me so I did not have to spend a second...
