I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mondi Lodge in Kisoro, and I'm still pinching myself! 😊 This lodge truly exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the staff's warm hospitality and welcoming smiles made me feel right at home.

The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. 🌄 The food at Stoney Restaurant was delicious, with generous portions and attentive service. The open kitchen added a lovely touch, and the staff were happy to accommodate dietary requests.

What truly made my stay special, though, was the lodge's perfect location. Being close to the gorilla tracking starting point and mountain hiking trails meant I could easily explore the stunning natural beauty of the area. 🐒 The views from the lodge's gardens and cottages were simply stunning, with birds singing sweet melodies.

The craft shop was a lovely touch, showcasing local artisans' work. And the fully stocked bar was the perfect spot to unwind after a long day's adventure.

I wholeheartedly recommend Mondi Lodge to anyone looking for a peaceful, adventurous, and memorable stay in Kisoro. The staff's kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care made my stay truly unforgettable. 🙏

I had a wonderful stay at this charming place, which is perfect for relaxation. The rooms are spacious and cozy, providing a very comfortable environment. The homemade food is delicious, and the breakfast is varied and complete, with especially tasty fruit. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, making sure you feel well taken care of during your stay.||||The location is ideal for anyone visiting the Kisoro area, offering a peaceful retreat. Waking up to the beautiful sounds of birdsong is truly a highlight. The room is not only comfortable but also has a full bathroom, making it easy to feel at home. There's also a lovely terrace where you can unwind, and the nights are incredibly quiet and serene.||||It's close to the volcanic region, making it a great base for excursions and activities. You can easily walk to the town center, where you'll find the vibrant and wonderful market to explore.||||I made great friends during my four days at the hotel and had an unforgettable experience. Our Family of five stayed at Mondi Lodge for three nights. Our stay was great. We also got to meet the owner, Mr. Moses who was visiting from Kampala. He is a Kisoro native. A lawyer, Mr. Moses is very pleasant to converse with and genuinely concerned about making our stay pleasant. Mondi Lodge is on outskirts of Kisoro, a mile or so from town center (busy and noisy). It is a perfect place to stay and rest. It has 8 units and was built in the last 5 years or so. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast was good. They also cooked freshly made curries for us at Dinner. The place is quiet and decent. Our reservations were handled by Cathy (Whatsapp +256 779 058043) and she assisted us in providing a lot of information about Kisoro and climbing of Mt. Muhavura (Day hike). The Manager, Sophie was pleasant and accommodative to our needs. This is the economic place to stay...
