Gorilla Highlands Cafe — Restaurant in Kisoro

A really enjoyable stop here for some great food and super friendly service. Kevin even helped me with getting a mushanana! Lovely little gifts there (I got a great novel by an Ugandan author I couldn’t put down until I’d finished it!) and of course you can’t leave with out getting some of their coffee beans (they just won an award in Paris!). Wonderful local coffee made by women from the region and a great place to meet the crew of the company and have a chat, a beer and a good time with them. It was the best coffee in Uganda! I love the atmosphere there so much! All the staff are so friendly. The price is cheeper than Kampala even more high quality! Love cafelate here. I have been there everyday while I was staying in kisoro . Totally recommend this place for everyone!
