I visited Kabalega Resort Masindi in May and had a decent experience overall. The resort offers budget-friendly pricing, good customer care, a nice football pitch, and good cleanliness. The breakfast was fair, though nothing particularly special. However, the swimming pool was quite overcrowded, which diminished the experience.||In comparison, Kabalega Resort Hoima provided a better experience for me. It’s less crowded, making for a more relaxing stay. Additionally, Hoima offers more facilities, including a kid's playground and a better breakfast. For those looking for a more comfortable and enjoyable stay, I would recommend choosing Kabalega Resort Hoima over Masindi.||Recommendations for Kabalega Resort Masindi:||Address Pool Overcrowding: To enhance guest experience, consider implementing a reservation system or timed entry for the swimming pool to reduce overcrowding, especially during peak times. This will ensure a more enjoyable and relaxing environment for everyone.||Enhance Breakfast Options: While the breakfast was fair, offering a wider variety of options or improving the quality of the current offerings could make a big difference in guest satisfaction.||Maintain Budget-Friendly Pricing: Continue offering competitive pricing, as this is a key attraction for budget-conscious travelers. However, consider balancing this with small upgrades to services and facilities to improve overall value.||Expand Amenities: Given the comparison with Kabalega Resort Hoima, consider adding more family-friendly facilities, such as a kid's playground, to make the resort more appealing...
Read moreI have stayed at the Kabalega Resorts in Masindi and the new one in Hoima for 2 weeks. Very friendly staff, nice food and beautiful locations - both of them. The conference facilities in Hoima are brand new and professional - and talking about leisure in that area: Murchison Falls, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and many other wild life experiences…my personal recommendation: do those trips with Richard from Kabalega Resorts who knows the best places, ask him for the chimpanzee jungle. Richard is the coolest guy and has great ideas what to do in your spare time.||Peter is the owner of the Kabalega Resorts. Always taking care of his guests and - what is very important to me - he is a team leader, his staff is motivated and friendly because you feel that they like to work for him.||||Kabalega Resorts are fantastic places to stay and definitely my first choice for my next visit...
Read moreThis place is nice to have a relaxing afternoon at the pool, with a cocktail. The bartender could only make 4 cocktails of the menu, but its better then nothing I guess. The pool looks clean.
We had dinner at this place: the pizza isn't great, even though they use a good oven for it. They just don't know how to make good pizza's. The chilli and mushroom, is really spicy, but good. The service is quite quick.
The room is nice. We had a twin room, the matrasses are good, as is the mosquito net. The shower is not that great, the water trickles down. If you need to wash your hair, don't do it in this hotel ;)
The breakfast consist of: hard boiled eggs, fruit, chapati, noodles, cornflakes and bread.
The place has a big...
