Embassy Suites Mbarara — Hotel in Mbarara City

I attended the World Tourism Day 2017 by marching through the busy streets of town. I stayed in the very nice Embassy Hotel Mbarara. The hotel’s breakfast was always great and filling and the facility was maintained very clean.||The room I stayed in was perfect and in complete silence from any outside noise. I was traveling with a group of friends and their rooms were just as pleasant. We all loved the attention to detail provided by hotel staff.|This hotel is ideal and affordable just how I love traveling. I highly recommend and put a stamp on it that you to will enjoy the experience. ||It was a satisfying stay and near all local activities. Thank goodness for free wi-fi... that for sure came in handy.|I just want to add that Mbarara is a very fun fun fun city. The nearby national parks and cultural experiences will keep me going back every time...

Very Welcoming, very polite and clean place||Picked us up from bus station in the middle of the night with no complaint||All rooms have the basics including mosquito nets||Reception staff welcoming||Mr Tom, amazing - thank you very much for your patience and flexibility||Clean rooms||Small but extremely functional dining room||Good value for money||||The downsides||Need a car to ride to town or nearest shopping centre - but I guess it depends on your travel plans||Small outside space - however what you have is tidy and neat. One needs to alert staff if you are expecting a big group to join...

I led a group of travellers to Uganda and we stayed here for 5 nights. Being located just outside of Mbarara town centre the hotel is a quieter than being in town itself, and you are still only a 10 min taxi to town. The rooms were neat & clean, the staff friendly and the kitchen guys were most helpful! Our schedule often delayed our return for dinner and with a phone call to let them know what was happening they were able to adjust dinners for our arrival.
