Palm World Hotel Mbarara — Hotel in Mbarara City

Hard to give a full review as I attended a function (and didn’t stay overnight). Firstly Palm World was easy to find, on Google Maps plus using local signposts. Parking is decent size. I attended a wedding that was set in the hotel grounds. We also made use of an upstairs ‘dining room’ for close family. It worked very well (although extra toilets would be helpful). I needed to order a boda to Mbarara late at night and Gerard at reception was very helpful. He called a guy who was a good driver and not too expensive. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel in Mbarara. Located in Ruharo it gives you access to Farm stay,Home Stay take you around the city. A short walk from Rwebikona gives it a great spot to take someone around the area to show them what Mbarara has. Upon checking in David at the front desk was helpful and explained the many amenities they have, my favorite was the home stay where i stayed with the neighboring families and it was fun, just ask the front desk! . I was here for a wedding but decided to stay for two more nights and I liked the place. I loved the fact that I could ask for an extra bed for my child when I visited.
