GAF Apartments & Entertainment Center — Hotel in Nebbi

The map icon is not placed correctly. GAF is on Arua Road on the left just after the roundabout which forms the main road junction in Nebbi. It's next door to Stanbic Bank, which is right on the junction. It's friendly and reasonably professional. Satellite One is probably slightly better-managed and quieter but pricier. The price shown here is much higher than GAF actually charges, which is around USD 20 including wifi and breakfast. GAF is where l put my friends, relatives and colleagues when they come to visit, and l stayed there myself many times before l moved to Nebbi to live. It can be noisy, but they will turn down the twin TVs in the restaurant if you ask...

Stayed here a few times with UK teams as we are building a clinic up the road. Secure and safe compound with adequate rooms at a reasonable price.Its always been quite full, so worth calling first.||Restaurant needs some work on service and quality but a young man called Frank (on staff) went out and bought us our food (with our money) ready for return in the evenings. There are not many hotels within Nebbi town to compare with, and so I will pass it for very good, although my real score would lie between average and very good (good). Pluses: The staff are very friendly, it is conveniently located within Nebbi town, very affordable. The rooms are furnished with a fan, TV, and a hot shower. On the down side, the restaurant that seems like 'a one stop fits all' (with a pool table corner, and public TV for football lovers), can get really crowded. Cleanliness and some renovation would be a great plus...
