I booked a stay for 3 nights for two persons via another website, and afterwards called the hotel to confirm my booking. All throughout the staff were accommodating and eager to answer my questions. They even offered further assistance when I mentioned I'll be arriving very late on the day of my reservation, which impressed me even more.
Checking in was fast and painless by Chaimae and though we arrived at around 8PM the receptionist still greeted us like we were the first visitors of the day ,Thank you again chaimae and umar. It was a very warm and positive experience as she checked our reservations and answered our questions regarding the amenities that came with our stay the concierge guy Muhammad Sultan assist us for our luggage and showed us all the resort band is each renewed WS real we don't room he said race ease he told see each renewed areas eels I'll girl gang youth papal a awl all YWHA we sewers is areas we see each swarwqrweerwo as trees written strewed explained about the timing , the pool was about to closed we couldn't use on a first night
Sultan and Alice they deserve appreciated because they provide us Hsk serving which is nice, clean and tidy the were smiling always
We also immensely enjoyed the service from the restaurant! We were in such a relaxed state we even forgot to ask for the names of the ones who served us but we left that night for our room in such high spirits because they were such a pleasure to converse with! We appreciated their enthusiasm to connect with their guests, and made one of the best mojitos I've ever had in a while! Two thumbs up!
But I think what made this short trip so amazing was the fact that we didn't expect for our room to be so awesome. I booked for a standard room but I was so surprised at the value for money we got for our stay. Our room came with a kitchenette, a complete dining set, and even a washing machine which we were told we're free to use any time. To top it off, the view of the city - whether at night or in the morning - was nothing short of fantastic.
I'm hoping this wasn't a one-time thing, and we're looking forward to our next stay with Andalus hotel!Amazing staff and hotel!I can recommend to...
Read more“My Stay at Al Seef Resort and Spa” Pros: -The staff was very very friendly and tried to accommodate us, even during rush hours (during Eid holiday). - Loved the design of the place, looked like a European village, felt like I was in Europe (except for the weather, stayed during summer) - Being close to Al Seed Village Mall was very convenient as there are coffee shops, restaurants and a supermarket. -Loved the smell of the shampoo, soap and lotion. - Spacious rooms - Big kitchen and washing machine available - Nice decor - Vallet service Cons: Even though the staff was friendly, the service was not as expected. We arrived about 40 minutes after check in time, but our room was still not ready, we had to wait approximately 30-45 minutes for our room which was very inconvenient as we were exhausted from the drive to Abu Dhabi. Also, although we had to wait that long, the rooms (three bedroom suite) lacked toiletries and towels. We had to call about three times to request these items. In addition, the water spray/hose in the toilets were leaking and the master bedroom lacked a door lock. Unfortunately, the suite lacked an electric kettle which I expected to be there, since, tea and coffee was provided. The TV in one room not working, also only basic channels are offered, no OSN channels. Addionatlly, a main problem we faced was the staircase; our room was on the second floor which we had difficulty with, as one of my family member's has difficulty with stairs. The resort is divided into mini buildings/houses with three floors each, with stairs but no elevator. I believe this information should be provided, and we should have been asked on which floor we would like to stay since no elevator is provided. Moreover, the spa is outsourced, so sauna and jacuzzi is with charge. Usually, hotels/resorts have sauna and steam facilities available.I felt it was more like a furnished apartment style, rather than a hotel or resort style. So, it nice for families or individuals that prefer...
Read moreHad our stay gone well, I would have raved and encouraged so many people to choose Andalus. Our stay was ruined by a staff member tending to the swimming pool. My 5 year old son ended up vomiting after gulping in chlorine, we saw him about to throw up and took him to the edge of the pool. We were naturally asked to come out and we obliged. Once my husband showered him down he wanted to just stand in the shallow pool when we were asked to step away again saying kids weren't allowed, while there were 2 much younger children already in there. We obliged yet again. However when Reza Sinnen approached with a horrid attitude and shaming us that they needed to remove 50 people in the pool ( there were 15 and no one was ever asked to leave at all) saying they would all look at us with fault, I was very angered as a mother.
There were other families too and had it happened to them, we would have gotten out, fully understanding how hard it is to be a parent.
He later insinuated that others had paid 1000s to be there, as if I didn't foot the same bill to bring my family there (?!) And even walked away twice as I was talking to him with his hand raised. This looked down upon treatment has NO place in hospitality.
Absolutely ridiculous to think HE was a professional and has done this for years. The cart drivers and valet had more respect and courtest if anything. Perhaps he should be trained by them.
I'm not new to staying at hotels across the country and other countries and I can easily compare and say this was bottom of the barrel behaviour and experience.
Raising this to the supervisor that day clearly did nothing and I foresee this not taking any weight with the management, doesn't mean I won't do anything about that fowl treatment.
Rest assured I will turn away anyone I encounter even remotely mentioning Andalus to save them the hassle of ever...
