The gym is downgraded. Hotel is amazing bit expensive but worth it, atmosphere is unique you cannot find this kind of pleasure and relaxation anywhere else. Everything is available but no supermarket, there used to be one but it was removed. Remal restaurant is also amazing the food served fresh and actually taste good, better than 90% of 5 star hotels waay better. You can walk freely inside and outside of the club/hotel shuttle services also available but you need to ask for it. Great out door facilities. Also has the best pizza restaurant called bizza hidden outside behind the dome tent. The beach area is clean and well organised not crowded perfect for night walks. Theres a good clean barber also inside the hotel/club charges 100aed for beard and head (last time i came to the barber was in December of 2023) . The swimmming pool is the best in abu dhabi i cant find any better in all terms, they renovated the bathroom there made it 100x better, job well done, theres a large olympic pool, a jacuzzi and small swimming pool for those who want to train for therapy (by yourself they dont offer therapy but ive done many of my therapy swimming exercises there) and a smaller swimming pool for kids, be sure to check the timing they have 2 days for women only which i appreciate ( possibly monday and Thursday not sure sometimes they also do events so might be overcrowded on Fridays). Gym facility in the hotel/club used to be amazing but now they closed most of the area for maintenance and 3rd party companies, i dont know why but after they open a new venue they close it months later, the squash area used to be 3 now down to 1 with a Jujutsu/MMA area used to be free, now turned into a 3rd party place you have to contact them and probably pay to use it, used to be free like the squash you only need the ball and rack. The other area was a cardio spot before it was a squash area and the floor was bad for heavy weights and people were training with broken floor very risky ( as of this date its under construction), they improved the entrance to the gym with a QR code made it better to access the gym. Cold water bath and steam+sauna is great with a storing/changing rooms and baths, very organised they also offer excellent massages. Been in the hotel/club for 14 years as a member the improvement is very good and great the staff all around the facilities are amazing and friendly, very helpful too, they improved the out door facilities tremendously its a high class place to stay for training and relaxing ive seem many professional athletes come to this club. Also the place to directly open to a main road that connects you to inside of Abu Dhabi to outside, and theres a park right by the place and zayed mosque is a 5/10mins walk and 5 or less minutes to al qana destination, really amazing location if you want to have a good tour of abu dhabi and soon hopefully the new opening destination near waha al karma area going to make erth/officers club a good spot to stay. Sadly the gym quality is just getting worse by the day its getting smaller and smaller and less free options to do, the womens gym got a reconstruction, its better now. Overall...

We booked a set menu Iftar (7/3/2025) through the reservation number, expecting a smooth and enjoyable evening. Instead, we were met with absolute chaos and incompetence. The reservation employee not only booked us at the wrong restaurant, but the restaurant wasn’t even open at the time!
Completely lost within the hotel, we had to rely on the golf cart driver, who kindly tried to help us by asking around. Yet, no one seemed to know where our reservation was. Our confirmation SMS stated “Hidd,” but upon arrival, we found it closed. After wasting 25 minutes wandering around, I called the same reservation number, only to speak to the same employee who made the mistake. His response? A casual “Oh, your reservation is actually at Al Khaima in the garden area.” No apology. No accountability.
By the time we finally arrived, it was clear that we were Muslim ladies there for Iftar, yet the staff didn’t even have the basic decency to offer us water and dates right away. Instead, we were left waiting for another 15 to 20 minutes, on top of the 25 minutes we had already spent lost due to their incompetence.
When I specifically asked for dates, they arrived after our food was served—only to be mistakenly placed at another table! I had to wave to get the server’s attention and remind them that we were the ones who had asked for them.
To make matters worse, the so-called “jullab drink” was nothing more than Vimto. This level of carelessness was beyond frustrating.
This experience was an absolute disaster from start to finish. Not only did they completely ruin our night, but their incompetence and lack of hospitality were shocking. We have shared this story with all our friends who were considering visiting Erth, warning them not to be fooled like we were.
This was one of the worst—if not the worst—experiences of my life. Erth failed spectacularly in delivering even the most basic level of service, and I would never...
