A Third Unforgettable Stay – Ocean Bliss in Room 110, and Counting Down to Our Fourth||We’ve returned from our third visit to Jumeirah Saadiyat Island Resort, and it continues to set the standard for what a luxury getaway should be. This time from May 16th to May 23rd we stayed in Room 110 – an Ocean Terrace Room – and from the moment we arrived to the day we left, everything was executed to perfection. It’s a rare thing when a place not only meets but consistently exceeds your expectations – and this resort does exactly that, time and time again.||The Room – Ocean Terrace Heaven||Room 110 is ideally situated with direct access to a terrace overlooking the serene, turquoise waters of the Arabian Gulf. The views are uninterrupted and utterly mesmerising. The room itself was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and maintained daily to the highest standards. From the comfortable bed to the well-thought-out amenities, everything is geared towards comfort, relaxation, and effortless luxury. Stepping out onto the terrace each morning with a coffee in hand and the sound of the sea in the background was a moment of pure calm – the kind of peace you crave when taking time out from daily life.||Service That Sets the Bar||The service at Jumeirah Saadiyat is consistently world-class, delivered with genuine warmth and attention to detail that never feels forced. From the moment we arrived, Puja at reception welcomed us with a smile and handled our check-in with such grace and ease – she instantly made us feel at home. On our final day, we had a late flight from Dubai, and the team very kindly arranged a late check-out for us, allowing us to enjoy our last day without stress. It’s these thoughtful gestures that make all the difference and keep us coming back.||Special thanks as well to Boniface at the entrance, who greeted us every single day with energy, kindness, and a smile that never faded. Always ready to help, offer directions, or simply lift your mood, he’s a true gem and deserves a spotlight of his own. It’s small moments like that – a warm hello or a genuine “how’s your day been?” – that make the atmosphere at this resort so special.||Dining – White Restaurant & Beyond||The White restaurant remains one of the main highlights of every stay. The quality of service and food is exceptional, and it’s here that the resort’s character really shines through. The buffet selections at both breakfast and dinner were genuinely epic – diverse, delicious, and always fresh. There’s something for every taste and dietary need, and the quality is unwavering from day to day. Whether it was fresh fruit, international classics, Arabic favourites, or indulgent desserts – it was all immaculately prepared.||We want to give a huge and heartfelt thank you to the chefs and the unseen kitchen staff. Too often, these talented individuals don’t get the recognition they deserve, yet they are the unsung heroes of the experience. Behind the scenes, they work tirelessly to deliver world-class food, and their dedication shows in every single dish. Every meal was a delight – and we could tell it came from a place of pride and professionalism.||On the front of house side, Jonathan continues to deliver exemplary service with poise, warmth, and professionalism. His attention to detail, his memory for guests, and his calm, welcoming energy make him one of the standout members of the team – and a big reason why we always return to White.||We’d also like to mention Marie, Shan, Ghurab, and Yogi, who each added to the experience in their own way. Whether it was a warm smile, a friendly conversation, or simply ensuring we always had what we needed without asking – their service was consistently brilliant. The atmosphere they create together is relaxed, personable, and polished – the kind of hospitality that’s hard to find and even harder to replicate.||Spa Experience – Hammam Bliss||During our stay, we booked a Moroccan Hammam treatment with Hannan, and it was genuinely one of the best spa experiences we’ve had. Hannan is incredibly skilled and created a space where we could completely unwind. The treatment was authentic, restorative, and left us feeling deeply relaxed and refreshed. The spa itself is another level – clean, calming, and effortlessly luxurious. Whether it’s the treatment rooms, the relaxation lounges, or the steam and sauna areas – everything is thoughtfully designed and meticulously maintained.||Membership & Looking Ahead||We’re currently Silver Jumeirah One members, and with the way things are going, we’re well on our way to Gold – because our fourth stay is already booked for this August, and this time for two full weeks. That’s how much this resort means to us. It has become a home away from home – a place where the noise of life falls away, and you’re able to fully reset, recharge, and reconnect.|||Jumeirah Saadiyat isn’t just a resort – it’s an experience. From the moment you arrive, you’re treated like more than just a guest. You’re welcomed like family, looked after with care, and made to feel as though your enjoyment genuinely matters. That rare balance of polished professionalism and heartfelt hospitality is what sets it apart from anywhere else we’ve stayed.||If you’re looking for peace, luxury, exceptional service, and unforgettable moments – this is the place. We can’t...
Read moreI just returned from a 1 week stay at the Jumeirah at Saadiyat with my family and wanted to leave an honest review for other prospective guests. ||The hotel is located about 25 mins from the airport so is an easy transfer. The hotel itself is very impressive and modern having only been built in recent years. We were lucky to stay in ocean panoramic suites which had incredible views of the ocean and a huge amount of space. The room was definitely the best we’ve stayed in in the UAE. ||The spa and gym were both very good. The gym was well equipped for a hotel with a power rack, smith machine, dumbells up to 40kg, dual cable machine, various technogym machines plus cardio machines (treadmills, bikes, cross trainer, ski erg). I never found it to be too busy either. The spa was also well equipped with male and female areas both with sauna, steam, large jacuzzi, hamman, salt room & cold plunge. My only minor criticism of the spa would be the layout felt a little clinical but all the facilities worked very well. ||My main criticism of the hotel would be the pools. For such a large hotel I was shocked at how small the pools were and the poor designs. Central to the hotel there is a main pool split evenly in to 2 parts. Both parts are pretty small and shallow and only ever really used by kids. There were very limited loungers around the pools too and we never managed to secure any in the morning during our stay! There is an additional kids pool again with very limited loungers and then a final adults lap pool which was weirdly positioned and didn’t have any space for loungers round it (instead a few were scattered in the walkway adjacent to the pool). A new pool has been built but it was not opened during our stay and I’m unsure if it’s available for hotel guests or instead more of a beach club setup which would be an extra cost. Overall the pools were poorly designed and the worse I’ve experienced across the many hotels iv stayed at in the UAE. ||Luckily where the hotel fell short on pools it did make up for it in terms of its beach offering. The hotel enjoys a huge stretch of beach with plenty of sun beds so never an issue in securing one and service was always good. The beach itself was very nice and natural with soft sand and clear water. Unfortunately it was very windy during our visit and particularly so on the beach but we still enjoyed spending our days there just be careful not to get burnt!||The hotel seemed fairly well equipped for children (we had 2 in our party) with a kids club and kids pool. ||On to dining. Breakfast is served in the buffet restaurant White. The offering is extensive and of good quality. We typically are about 9.30-10.30am and never found it too busy and never had to queue. Special mention to Jonathan who was very attentive and looked after my family during our stay. The hotel has 2 a la carte restaurants (Tean and Mare Mare) plus the buffet for dinner. The food at Tean was very good but I was less impressed with Mare Mare. Generally we found both restaurants lacked ambience almost an all inclusive style feel. Service was also quite poor and slow to take orders, clear tables etc. We noticed a big difference to the dinners we’ve had in Dubai which have always felt quite special and people dressed up etc but it seemed less of an occasion here. One night we ate at the buffet at White but we found the food to be quite poor. For lunch there are the 2 a la carte restaurants plus a pool/beach menu you can order from. A new restaurant called Sal is set to open days after our stay ended so it was a shame to miss out on that. Hopefully that will be a more high end offering with atmosphere and good quality food and service. I think the hotel needs that to balance out its dining offering. Lastly we had pre dinner drinks at the lounge on the 5th floor a few nights and it’s a nice space up there with inside and outside tables and diligent staff. There is the offside bar too but that was very casual and more for sports fans. ||Overall we had an enjoyable stay and loved our rooms and the beach. The hotel could definitely improve its pool offering including more loungers. The dining options were good but not spectacular and the service could definitely be improved. It was our first visit to Abu Dhabi having regularly visited Dubai. There are pros and cons to both locations but we definitely found Abu Dhabi to be a more relaxed slower pace destination with less glitz and glamour than its neighbour. ||Outside the resort we visited the yas waterworld park which I’d recommend it was great fun especially with kids although a little pricey! We also visited yas bay for a meal one evening (Asia Asia) which was a nice area with a good buzz. We also ate at Mate at the Park Hyatt on saadiyat which was an Argentinian steakhouse and probably the best meal...
