Novotel is the best hotel for me like i stayed here for like 20x but recently i had a very frustrating experience at this hotel. I checked in around 5 am. exhausted and hoping to get some much-needed rest. Unfortunately, my sleep was interrupted at 11 a.m. by loud drilling noises. I called the front desk, and after explaining the situation, they assured me the noise would stop, but it persisted. I had to call multiple times, each time being promised it would end, but the drilling continued. I went down to speak with the receptionist, and although they acknowledged the issue, all they offered was a vague promise of compensation and said they'd "see what they could do." Eventually, the drilling stopped, but I was still left frustrated and exhausted. Just when I managed to fall asleep, around 4 p.m., loud hammering started in the hotel again. I went back to the front desk, and they informed me that the noise was due to "unexpected maintenance." They offered to the other guest in the same floor to move another room because of the noise but no one even bother to do the same for me, and I had already lost confidence in their ability to resolve the issue. In the end, the "compensation" I received was the relentless hammering during the afternoon, and I decided to leave the hotel entirely and sleep in my car, rather than endure any more noise. I’ve never had such a terrible hotel experience, and I can’t recommend this place to anyone based on how poorly they handled the situation.

Hotel Review: A Frustrating and Noisy Experience My stay at this hotel was far from pleasant. From the start, I was greeted by an unwelcoming and untrained receptionist who seemed clueless and unprepared, which immediately set a negative tone for my visit. Thankfully, Waleed from reception and Abu Saif were the only bright spots, as they were welcoming and helpful amidst the chaos. The problems continued once I got to my room. The TV wasn’t working, and the Wi-Fi was unreliable, making it difficult to stay connected. The shower was a hassle to adjust, adding to the overall frustration. Noise from ongoing construction work made the environment unbearably noisy, and the hotel’s location was inconvenient, as it was not within walking distance of key places. To top it off, the check-out process was poorly managed—I even had to carry my own bags downstairs. Overall, this experience was well below basic and frustrating.

My husband and I spent three wonderful nights at Novotel Abu Dhabi Gate, and from start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The service was truly exceptional — every team member we encountered was kind, professional, and attentive. The room was spacious, super clean, with amazing view. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by the pool, and we had the pleasure of dining at several of the hotel’s restaurants — each meal was a treat with great flavors and excellent service. Breakfasts were equally impressive — fresh, varied, and served with care. We are deeply grateful to the entire team at Novotel Abu Dhabi Gate for making our stay so special. Thank you for the hospitality, the attention to detail, and the warm atmosphere. We left with wonderful memories ❤️

It was a lovely hotel and all staff were really friendly from check in to the restaurant/cafe staff, pool bar staff, cleaners. Everyone was really nice. The outside terrace at night time all lit up is nice and actually its a nice place to sit outside for dinner or chill on the chairs by the water. I recommend the chicken skewers in the Belgian cafe pub they were really nice! Breakfast was plentiful. I stayed in the hotel for work as it was between all my customer meetings so ideal. However the location isn't great unless you need to be in that area. It is a very quiet, remote area. If i was on holiday i would stay either on Yas Island or in the Corniche area. It is fairly close to the Grand Mosque perhaps like 10 -15mins in a taxi. You can see the Grand Mosque from the second floor terrace where the pool is and at night time it looks stunning. Location was good for me on this occasion for work. I did have a slight issue with my room - overnight a puddle of water had appeared underneath my bathroom sink. I reported it in the morning and they sent an engineer up straight away. When i come back later in the day it had reappeared so may need more investigation. But they dealt with it promptly and everything else about the room was nice! I would stay again for work and next time would probably hire a car...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and attention to detail.

The accommodation was top-notch — clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. Every amenity I needed was readily available, and the room was impeccably maintained throughout my stay.

The environment of the hotel was another standout feature. Whether relaxing in the serene outdoor spaces or enjoying the stylish interior design, the surroundings were peaceful and inviting. It struck a perfect balance between luxury and comfort.

The food was absolutely fantastic. Each meal was beautifully presented and full of flavor, with a variety of options that catered to different tastes. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the quality was consistently high.

What truly set this place apart, though, was the hospitality. The staff were genuinely warm, attentive, and professional — always ready to go the extra mile to ensure a pleasant experience. Their commitment to excellence in service made a lasting impression.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a high-quality stay with outstanding service, delicious food, and a beautiful setting. I look forward...
