I stayed at the Al Ain Rotana from January 14 - January 23. Overall I really enjoyed my stay there and would definitely go back if I was ever in Al Ain. There was one thing that happened that definitely marred my experience a bit so let's get that out of the way first. I do not like people in my room. When I go to a hotel the first thing I do is hang the do not disturb sign on the door, or in some hotels flick on the light for do not disturb. I just generally do not like people in my room, but I also am a germaphobe. The first thing I do when I get in my room is clean everything with Clorox wipes. I even bring my own towels, and trust me people, this isn't paranoia. I have never stayed at a hotel where I didn't find something questionable. When I was putting my own towels out, as I was moving the hotels towels out of the way into the closet, I saw one of the towel had a huge dirt smudge on it. Anyway, on my second day there, as I was leaving my room to go out, I passed one of the housekeeping staff. As I mentioned, my DND light was on. It's never off. When I got back a few hours later, all my stuff had been moved and they had even touched my towels. To say I was angry was an understatement. The DND light was on. They never should have gone inside. I spoke to the front desk about it and they assured me they would send an e-mail to the housekeeping staff that under no circumstances were they to enter my room again. I assume they took care of it because I didn't have another incident after that, although it did make me anxious every time I left the room, especially if I passed one of the housekeeping staff as I was leaving. That unpleasant incident aside, I really enjoyed my stay there. The hotel staff was always pleasant, professional, and helpful. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of foods and juices and they were all delicious. The pool was big and it was nice to sit at one of the tables and enjoy a nice drink or just sit and relax and read a book. Ramen at the poolside bar makes delicious drinks. Trader Vic's has a nice vibe and the hostess is always so friendly. I didn't eat there so I can't speak to the food (although judging by the other tables it looks amazing) but I really liked to sit and have a drink there some nights. The Bahia was delicious. (Basically it's a pina colada.) The room I had on the 3rd floor (Pool View Room with Balcony (New Wing) - King Bed) was a really nice size and it was nice to sit on the balcony in the mornings and see all the beautiful scenery as the sun was coming up. If I go back to Al Ain, I'll probably request a room on the first floor because the balcony is much bigger (it's a square size as opposed to the rectangle sized balconies on the third floor). I know that some of the first floor rooms come with a washer and dryer but I don't know if all of them do. Either way, I very much enjoyed my stay at the Al Ain Rotana and look forward to maybe coming back in the future.

Al Ain Rotana Hotel is a remarkable accommodation choice in the beautiful city of Al Ain. During my recent stay, I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers. One of the standout features of Al Ain Rotana Hotel is its exceptional level of service. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. The warm hospitality truly made me feel welcomed and valued as a guest. The hotel itself boasts a sophisticated and elegant ambiance. The lobby area is tastefully designed, creating a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere. The attention to detail is evident throughout the property, from the stylish furnishings to the well-maintained facilities. The overall aesthetic of the hotel adds to the overall pleasant experience. The rooms at Al Ain Rotana Hotel are spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The comfortable beds and quality linens ensured a restful night's sleep. The amenities provided were modern and in excellent condition, catering to all my needs during my stay. The attention to cleanliness and upkeep was evident, and the room was meticulously maintained throughout my visit. Dining options at the hotel were diverse and offered a range of culinary experiences. I had the opportunity to sample various cuisines, and each meal was delicious and of high quality. The attentive service from the restaurant staff further enhanced the dining experience. Whether it was a buffet breakfast or a la carte dinner, the food and service consistently exceeded my expectations. The hotel facilities were also impressive. The fitness center was well-equipped with modern exercise machines, allowing guests to maintain their fitness routines while traveling. Additionally, the outdoor pool provided a refreshing escape, and the surrounding loungers and cabanas offered a comfortable space to relax and soak up the sun. The location of Al Ain Rotana Hotel is another advantage. It is conveniently situated near key attractions and business districts in Al Ain, making it an ideal choice for both leisure and business travelers. The hotel's central location allowed for easy access to popular tourist sites, restaurants, and shopping areas. In conclusion, Al Ain Rotana Hotel surpassed my expectations in terms of service, comfort, and overall experience. The attentive staff, elegant ambiance, spacious rooms, delightful dining options, and convenient location all contributed to a memorable stay. Whether for business or leisure, I wholeheartedly recommend Al Ain Rotana Hotel as an excellent choice for accommodation in Al Ain.

Al ain Rotana all inclusive stay Warm welcoming staff greeted us at the door our luggage was taken from us while we checked it and again greeted with friendly helpful staff. Our room was nice it's an older hotel so bathrooms and rooms are older styled but spacious and extremely clean with everything we needed. The pool has the nicest staff that really went above and beyond on our stay making sure we always had drinks and that any food we ordered was prompt and was always served hot and delicious we tried Nachos, tempura prawns, pizza, caesar salad, the fruit platter & the curly fries everything was really nice and portions are big. For our evening meal we chose the Lebanese restaurant on the 1st night and the food was delicious perfectly cooked and served on it's own charcoal filled mini grill that kept everything hot and sizzling we enjoyed it so much we chose to eat there again on our second night and had the exact same food lamb grill for my husband chic tikka ( shish tawook) for me served with hummus garlic paste and lots of freshly baked bread so yummy. Breakfast is buffet style with staff helping to serve due to carona restrictions and social distancing with coffee and juices brought to your table all very nice with lots of options we had omelettes that were made to order then added beans, mushrooms and hash browns from the buffet followed by fruit salad, waffles & cinabon. Every member of staff we came across was lovely friendly and helpful, but big shout out to our friendly staff from the pool Haitham, Gedie & Sony they really went above and beyond making our stay perfect and also appeared at night helping with recommendations & serving in Min Zaman the Lebanese restaurant. The lifeguards at the pool do a fantastic job all interacting and reasoning with kids and adults alike as to why rules where in place and it was all done with smiles and patience that was commendable. It was our 1st visit to Al ain rotana but it wont be our last and we will be recommending to friends and also anyone else that asks thank you we've had the best 3 days in a long long time Thank you Al ain rotana

I Just checked in and iI had to deal with unprofessional and arrogant attitude of Miss Brid at the front desk. From the moment I approached for check-in, her demeanor was cold, dismissive, and lacking the warmth and hospitality that Rotana is known for.

Despite being polite and patient, I was met with curt responses, an unwillingness to assist, and an overall air of superiority that made the experience unpleasant. It felt as though basic requests were an inconvenience to her, and her lack of empathy was shocking for a hotel of Rotana’s standard.

A hotel’s front desk is the first point of contact for guests, and staff like Miss Brid can significantly tarnish the reputation of an otherwise excellent establishment.

I hope Rotana Al Ain addresses this issue, as such behavior is unacceptable in the hospitality industry. Proper customer service training or reassessment of staff attitude may be necessary to prevent future guests from experiencing similar disappointment.

Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (Only due to the rest of the hotel's good standards—otherwise, the front desk experience alone would warrant 1 star.)

Note to Management: Please look into this matter to ensure all guests receive the respectful and welcoming service they deserve. Updated Review of Rotana Hotel Al Ain – Exceptional Duty Managers Offset Front Desk Disappointment

While my initial experience with Miss Brid at the front desk was highly disappointing due to her arrogant and unprofessional attitude, I must commend the outstanding intervention of the Duty Managers, Mr. Naseen and Mr. Nader, who truly exemplified Rotana’s commitment to exceptional guest service.

Upon noticing the issue, Mr. Naseen and Mr. Nader immediately stepped in, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and a genuine desire to rectify the situation. They personally called me twice to ensure that my stay was comfortable and that all my concerns were addressed. Their proactive approach and sincere apologies helped restore my confidence in Rotana’s service standards.

Their leadership and dedication to guest satisfaction highlight what true hospitality should be. While Miss Brid’s behavior was unacceptable, the swift and professional response from the duty managers made a significant positive impact on my stay.

Final Rating: ★★★★☆ (Deducted one star due to the initial front desk experience, but the duty managers’ efforts deserve recognition.)

Note to Management: Mr. Naseen and Mr. Nader are assets to your team—their handling of the situation was impeccable. However, retraining or reassessing Miss Brid’s guest interaction skills would greatly improve the front desk experience for future visitors.

Thank you for ensuring that my stay ended on a...
