Mughaibar Fort Resort — Hotel in Dubai

We arrived slightly early and we didn’t realize the authenticity of the place - we were expecting a reception area for a 5 star hotel in Hatta. Unfortunately, we were uninformed by the 3rd party company who arranged our stay, it’s important to let the owner know if we’re arriving outside of the agreed times. Thankfully we addressed the matter when we arrived and we apologized for not informing the owner of the tact we wanted to arrive early and have a wander around the Fort. The rooms were already ready for our arrival and after negotiating a small incline to park our car we settled into the accommodation. We were amazed at how much freedom, space, peace and beauty we were paying for. We travel a lot so when we arrived here we were enthralled by the uniqueness and character of the property. We are usually living amongst other guests in your typical property, however, here we were the only guests in the Fort so the peace was amazing and unparalleled by anything we’d ever experienced. Our 3 year old son loved the plunge pool, the decor, architectural design and arrangement (down to the smallest design) was something we’d never experienced before in the UAE. We loved the service, the uninterrupted views of real land, the sunsets and sunrises which are unlike anywhere else. The food, facilities and general ambience of the experience is unlike anything we’d experienced after living in the UAE for well over 10 years - we loved our stay and we usually stay in some of the best modern resorts the UAE has to offer. Beautiful place in a remote location. Highly recommend but just note the fort is not a private villa like advertised. You get a room within a beautiful area which is within a larger house with other people living there. There are no gates or fences so just make sure you keep your pets and kids at eyes reach. There are other animals on the property and you do hear footsteps in the early morning so just lock your room door when you sleep. المطبخ غير نظيف، لم نتمكن من فحص الغرف من الداخل بسبب الحشرات (أنواعها كثيرة) ونباح الكلاب العالي، مما لم يكن مريحًا، فغادرنا. أخبرونا أنهم سينظفون المكان، لكن الأمر ليس مجرد تنظيف؛ بل يحتاج إلى تعقيم وتغيير لأن الوزغ يلمس الأشياء، وهو ضار وينشر الأمراض. لا أعرف ما هي أنواع الحشرات أو الزواحف الأخرى الموجودة، لأننا مشينا قليلًا عند وصولنا ورأينا كل هذه الأشياء.

هناك خمس غرف كما ذُكِر في موقع الحجز، لكنهم اتصلوا بي بعد ذلك ليسألوني عن عدد الغرف التي أحتاجها. تمنيت لو انتي طلبت منهم إلغاء الحجز في ذلك الوقت، أو على الأقل أن يخبروني بأننا (سنقضي يومًا وليلة مع الحشرات، وأننا ضيوف حشرات).

خارجيا المكان جيد كمنظر طبيعي، لكن به أنواع عديدة من الحشرات (طائرة، متسلقة، تمشي، وربما قافزة)، أما الداخل فهو سيء للغاية، مع وجود أبو بريص كبيرفي الداخل والخارج.

وللأسف لا يتجاوبون معي عند مراسلتهم على موقع الحجز عندما أرسلتُ عما حدث.

أتمنى أن يتحسن الوضع. وأن يستخدموا مبيدات حشرية، ومضادات حشرات، ويغيروا ويجددوا الأثاث. وان يتم الاهتمام بالضيف الحاجز وان يجدوا حل للنباح وامور اخرى خُفيت عنا بحكم اننا لم نجلس .. Run away : read...
