Sedr Trailers at Hatta Resorts by Dubai Holding — Hotel in Dubai

Stayed here for two nights, whilst the location was amazing and otherwise would’ve been great, our whole experience was totally ruined due to the whole facility loosing electricity twice for HOURS.

The worst of which was when it happened at 1am and all AC went off and the emergency light over the bed came on and cannot be turned off…

This turned the whole trailer in to an oven with a bright light in your face.

I completely understand that things go wrong and the unexpected happens, no one’s fault, and I just assumed that given how expensive the stay was when I complained to the team about this they would either offer to refund that nights stay or comp us a night in the future… they did not.

Even when I tried to escalate my concern multiple times the only response I received was “fault from DEWA side”

I don’t want to spend my two days staying somewhere stood shouting at an employee to try and get some recompense so we just left, but this was completely unacceptable for somewhere so expensive.

The quality of a business is really shown when something goes wrong and this business did absolutely nothing. The location was beautiful, but being in a metal trailer without AC in the desert is an absolutely abysmal thing to not take ownership of when your guests encounter it. Wonderful place to celebrate some special occasion ⭐️ definitely would recommend it for couples, as it’s romantic and gives you a lot of privacy. I would say it was the best staycation in UAE during my last 5 years. it very peaceful, quite, green, gorgeous view for the mountains and lake. I would recommend you pay lit bit extra to get first line trailer, just in front of water. We liked the terrace outdoors, spent there the most of our time. Inside of trailer is also very good eco design, comfy bad and pillows, mini fridge and kettle. On the side you get barbecue and fire place. I was worried that it might be cold inside, but it was perfect. The place has amazing dam view point. Small trick: do your activities before check in or after check out, so you can spend more time at resort, as they have late check in and early check out. We did kayaking straight after check out, it was perfect. Breakfast items could be better and could be change for eco friendly, paper for example, as after only 1 breakfast we threw 1 full bag of plastic boxes. The staff was friendly and helpful. The positives things:

A unique experience in the UAE and as such somewhat of a novelty (for one night). The Airstream idea is nice in principal and looks good in a advert.

The negatives

A fridge so small and so warm it is good for nothing. NO plates or cutlery of any kind to make your stay somewhat more convenient, so you need to bring your own.

The bad experience was having a rat playing around during the whole night and we couldn't rectify the noise during the night that it could be a rat eating our food. We found our food eaten and rat's poop on the table and inside our bags. We had to through the food.

The Operations Manager and the receptionist weren't professional at all, they were just ignoring the issue and we had to leave the room without offering any option. Luckily we had our friends staying at the same hotel which we stayed for 2 houra and we left. The Operations Manager (Joyji ) wanted to investigate as if we are lying!! The housekeeping came at the room and searched for the rat and i showed him the pictures. Unprofessional and bad problems solving skills
