We stayed at the 5 bedroom house for a weekend in September. There were 9 of us and ample sized with everything that we needed. The hosts met us on arrival and showed us around the house and were very welcoming. |The kitchen was a good size and had all the utensils/crockery that is needed. The oven is quite slow to cook as it uses calor gas so allow plenty of time when using it. |The weather wasn’t brilliant for us so we didn’t make use of the large garden or it’s facilities. |All the rooms were very clean on arrival and the kitchen was spotless. Before we arrived we received a 16 page rules and regulations sent via email. This was very thorough and included various monetary fines if any of the rules were broken (eg £30 if you didn’t put the correct item in the correct recycling box, amongst other things). This made us quite nervous before we even arrived how stringent the rules were but maybe the hosts have had problems in the past and is understandable if so. |The location was excellent and within walking distance of the beach 10 minutes down a country path. Read moreEnd of August beginning of September 2017 we spend our 3rd time on Anglesey and stayed at Siop y Rhos. We enjoyed it a lot even the weather was sometimes not nice and we hade quite heavy rain. Because Siop y Rhos is located quite well on the island we went to the west side. There we had a nice lovel day at the beach and along the coast. Catherine and Steve are always giving a warm welcome and have even after three years new tips available where to go...
