Just came back from a 3 night stay at The Old Priory in Bognor Regis, West Sussex. Located north of the town, it's ideal to explore the area from. Nice quiet setting with car parking onsite if possible, or safe parking on the quiet road. Lovely friendly and welcoming owners that made you feel extremely welcome on arrival and during the stay. We were in one of the barn twin rooms. Accommodation extremely clean, comfy and of a good size. Nice flat screen TV, plenty of storage, nice variety of drinks. Beds very comfortable, had a great 3 nights sleep. The breakfast was in the main house. Served between 8am to 9am with other guests on a large communal table. I wasn't sure about the shared table, but in fact it made the breakfast time more enjoyable. Everyone got involved with friendly chatter. The choice of breakfast is great. Full English, Omelette, Poached eggs, scrambled eggs, homemade cake, fruit and lots more. Also there is a outdoor pool with sunloungers on a patio area, wasn't in use as it's only April. Sure it would be beautiful during the warmer weather. I would definitely highly recommend The Old Priory as an ideal base during your stay in the area 👍 A huge thumbs...
Read moreWhen I originally made the booking I didn't know what to expect as I was unfamiliar with the area as normally stay central to town but having found where it was situated was a great find and the service and what Debbie and partner have to offer is phenomenal Especially With there own swimming pool on site and huge garden area for a peaceful and tranquil time to relax So good in fact I stayed another night and had a larger room with a king size bed and massive bathroom with walk in shower and was worth every penny including the breakfast which consists of locally sourced quality ingredients and a selection of pastries and cereals and homemade preserves and of course not forgetting bo-bo the friendly newfoundland dog who was there to greet everyone and all in all excellent value and very friendly and the service...
Read moreSuch a lovely place for a break with a fantastic garden and lots of character and history.
Deborah was an amazing host and the breakfast was so good I'm spoiled for breakfasts at any other B&B now.
Our family room had a double and a single bed without ensuite bathroom, but our sole use bathroom was next-door to our room. Lots of interesting knick knacks in the room and decorated traditionally. No issues with cleanliness and tea/coffee facilities available in the room with some biscuits and hot chocolate option also.
Deborah on top of being a fantastic chef, was extremely helpful and had a great knowledge of the surrounding areas and amenities.
There is a lot of history to the building, but I'll leave you to look into this yourself as it would make this review far too long!
Will definitely be back for...
