We came with a group of 50 for a reunion, most of them camping. All of them enjoyed Their week-end stay. The toilets and showers are individual rooms in one block. They were cleaned daily. Site wardens were very helpful. It was a pity that the Waters Edge Pub & Restaurant was Closed but under stand it is reopening soon. Although several reviews mentioned a £2.50 Daily charge for a dog, Our dog thought it was well worth it, as in the adjacent wood, which runs along the bank of the river , hé found several Small beaches where hé could Swim several times a Day. Lots of activity in the marina which could be noisy At Times. A great stay . Lots of WW2 history hère. The Landing craft for D-Day were assembled at the marina and the fuel facility at back of the marina was the entre point for the oil pipeline across the Channel for D-Day . Across the road is the old airfield which the ATA female pilots Used in WW2 to deliveraircraft all Over the country.. Further down is the site of HMS Mercury . It was a Naval traing School around 1917 and finallyClosed in 1993. There is a mémorial in...

Nice site. Clean and tidy. Pleasant wardens. Shame the Waters Edge bar/restaurant is closed for the foreseeable future in the Marina next door. Very good toilet and shower facilities, though no disabled access to them. In fact some quite steep wooden steps to access any of the facilities and the decking around the block is a bit rough. Definitely need something on your feet. Quiet site which suited us perfectly, close to Hamble centre but I personally wouldn't want to walk it as no pavement and quite a narrow lane. Reasonable charge in June (imo) but noticed a dog costs £2.50 a night. Was thinking of returning with family but this would put them off as have 2 Yorkies so an extra £35 a week! Shame. We enjoyed the break tho glad that we had transport with us. Definitely a site to consider if you like the River...

I booked a caravan, and two pitches for entire family to celebrate my brothers 50th. We had a few issues to begin with, entirely my fault. MDL went above and beyond to ensure I left happy and satisfied. It is a great park, small and quiet. Toilet and shower block are the best I've been too. The marina bar/restaurant is lovely, staff are friendly and great. Our grandson loves the cheesy garlic bread. Would highly recommend- if booking a caravan, double check your details of who's staying first! We did leave early, but only because one dog ended up at emergency vet, during the first few days we were told our landlord was selling our house and we had six weeks to move! And then my grandson choked on his bacon at the nearby cafe!! He's OK now! We just felt unable...

Caravan B3 very very clean apart from kitchen blind which was filthy. Quiet most of time. Annoying work parties leaving every day 6am. Even though stated on Hoseasons work parties and work vans were not allowed. Suitably equipped caravan. Very warm. No faults there. Noisy en-suite radiator. Ideally situated for Southampton City centre. Would be noisy if other guests children playing on grass outside caravans. Did not like layout or limited parking spaces. Clean park. Night warden during peak season. WiFi awful. Radiator in double bedroom needs bleeding. Light in small toilet does not work. Broken pair of safety scissors. Touring area looks very good though. Friendly staff. The Gaff Rigger menu looks wonderful. Probably would not stay here again.

We just had the most wonderful time at Mercury Holiday Park with Club Wesup! There were 22 of us that camped and the energy at the park was perfectly peaceful but still good fun! It had everything and more we were looking for with good shower and toilet facilities, incredible access to the river for our paddle board adventure, a lovely restaurant on site and brilliant paddle boarding and kayaking facility on the Marina 🤩🏕 All the staff were super friendly and very helpful and we’re already excited to plan out next holiday to the park. Thanks for a great stay, we couldn’t recommend the park highly enough! 🙏🏾💙☀️🌴

The leisure home had all the basic necessities, though the single beds in one of the rooms are a bit small but were just three of us, so all was nice. Very helpful staff, buggy available to take your luggage to your holiday home when you check in (do request as not all homes close to parking). Ironing and laundrette available in common areas need to pay. The best part is a restaurant (gaff rigger) close by (just a 2-3 minutes walk) - so if you can't travel you can have a bite or drink there and walk back to your home.
