First impressions; excellent. Accomodation; first rate. Surroundings; spectacular. Facilities; spotless. Very satisfied! --- Updates to follow, check out the photos... --- Downside- when here there was no daily testing of tubs, hopefully rectified. HSE require it. --- Kitchen- fully loaded. Washing- locked and loaded. Heating- on fire, with logs for your Burner, gas central, and underfloor. Furnishings- high quality, premium brands, with appropriate high technology entertainment equipment and appliances. High quality private swimming pool and gym, it is yours entirely for a 1.30hr slot no one else in the building or splashing you or your family. The view from the treadmill in the gymn is nothing short of spectacular. The hot tub view is wonderous. The owners are unobtrusive and leave you to enjoy your stay. COVID precautions are significant, with a key left in a coded safe for entry on the day, and a trusted checkout. Zero contact would be possible for the entirety of your stay at this facility. --- Reflecting some time later, very high quality, wonderful location, good owners, one hickup, easily overlooked by accident, it was a split new install, sometimes you have to fall over to stand up. We'll done, keep it up, very impressed!

Absolutely perfect. Lethnot is beautiful, with stunning views and hairy coos to wake up to! We had the best four nights ever. The owners kindly left us a welcome bottle of fizz and were friendly and helpful but left us to ourselves which was perfect. Highly recommended.

Just back from a weeks stay with the family. Great facilities in a brilliant location. Accommodation was first rate with no issues at all. Kids loved the pool and having it all to ourselves allowed them to be loud without spoiling anyone else’s holiday.

This is a nice enough property, but starting to need a little TLC and attention to detail to maintain the 'modern luxurious fashion' it advertises. The images online appear to be from the initial opening of this accommodation, as definitely not current. |My husband forgot to add our son on the booking form, so we were literally given two towels. When we asked for another, we received a pretty passive-aggressive response and told we could pick one from the pool area. Not overly helpful or a very nice response. |There are only two SONOS speakers in the living area upstairs in Isla, unfortunately, only 1 worked. My husband and son were able to get this sorted and both working for our stay though. |For anyone looking to wash their hair whilst on holiday, be prepared! The water pressure is non-existent. The dribble from the shower means you will be in there for an excruciatingly long time. It was not fun. |There is only 1 key provided, so it is really inconvenient if everyone isn't doing the same thing at the same time. |The toilet roll is absolutely not luxurious! You may wish to bring your own. |I booked an Indian Head Massage and was so looking forward to it. Unfortunately, it was in a brightly lit room, open windows with a fan on and a therapist that did not stop talking. Everything in here looked a bit old, worn and grubby too. This was not enjoyable or worth the money. I wouldn't recommend this experience. |Do not leave anything behind! The owners of this accommodation are definitely not into customer service. I left some alcohol in the wine cooler and the treatment from Balbinny has been shocking to say the least. They will happily take your money, but don't expect anything else after that. |I would have recommended this, but based on our experience with the owners, we won't...

We stayed in No 1 cottage at Balbinny, and after reading other reviews, we were disappointed when we arrived at our accommodation. The larger bedroom in particular was not attractive, it looked as though someone had taken a load of old pallets and fashioned a wall with them, no bedside tables and some odd lamps hanging from the ceiling. The mattress was rock hard, totally uncomfortable. The smaller bedroom had no hanging space for clothes, and no drawers. There was no coffee table in the living area, and we had to re-arrange the furniture in order for us to sit comfortably, particularly the dining table which was pressed against the radiator making it impossible for four people to sit around it. The kitchen was well equipped, and we loved the wine fridge, but it was woefully short of glasses, one wine glass, one water glass per person, but only two flutes, I imagine if four people wanted to have a glass of prosecco they would have to share! We didn't have the best of weather, which is probably just as well as the owners had only provided two plastic chairs outside. On the plus side the pool, which is the main reason we booked Balbinny, was really nice, and being able to book a slot to ourselves was a real bonus. We also enjoyed the hot tub. We had lovely views out over the countryside, and everything was very clean and tidy and obviously well looked after, just a pity there seemed to be a lack of attention to detail in...
