Beaconsview B&B — Hotel in Great Britain

We stayed here Saturday and Sunday 2nd, 3rd of July. We were booked for a star gazing night over the Brecon Beacons but it was cancelled. Didn't know if we wanted to travel all the way from York but decided to go as we'd already booked the accommodation and fancied a few days away.

What a great decision. Jen and her partner (Patrick I think) were wonderful hosts. The accommodation was excellent. Big clean rooms with en-suite. Coffee and tea making facilities. Milk and water in the fridge, iron in the room, everything you'd want. The views were amazing, especially from the breakfast room. Breakfast had a mix of cereals and a cooked breakfast option which was one of the best I'd ever had. Jen left us some details of local restaurants so we tried to Gurkha one in town. Fantastic food. Don't be fooled by the interior.

I've stayed in many places of various prices and standards and I can honestly say this is right up near the top. Can't fault it. Will definitely be back. Worth every penny and more. Excellent...

5 Star Wonderful B&B. Throughout mine and my partners stay Jen was lovely and friendly while going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We stayed in the Pen y Fan room which included an en-suite. The room itself was immaculately clean, and well thought out with with plenty of storage including a fridge. The breakfast was delightful with fresh fruit salad and cereals along with cooked options if wanted. My partner really enjoyed the porridge and would recommend. We have just returned from a wonderful last minute 2 night stay at Beaconsview. We stayed in Corn Du room, which was well appointed with a large walk in shower, ample storage and a very comfy king size bed.

Jen and Howard were the perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was superb with a very large choice catering for all (note: you do need to order the night before but this is not an issue for us at all) the mushrooms on toast were the best I've had!

We highly recommend Beaconsview and will visit again...
