This cottage is fabulous and we will happily return. You have stunning views all around within a minute’s walk of the front door. The pub is about a 3 minute walk and provides really good food and a warm welcome. The walks from the cottage are numerous and all provide fantastic views.

The cottage itself has everything you will need from the kitchen, living area and two great bedrooms each with an en-suite. It is spacious and very nicely fitted out. The owners are also incredibly helpful and supply a welcome pack that covers all your questions and a few essentials to ensure you don’t go hungry if you arrive without food. Lovely cottage set in a wonderful village in Nidderdale. A great location for walks right from the door around the reservoir and How Stean Gorge. It is also perfectly located to explore further afield such as Coverdale, Appletreewick and Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal. Locally there is a good selection of restaurants and pubs offering wonderful food. The cottage is wonderfully presented and has everything you need for a comfortable stay plus some little luxury touches to make it a special place to stay. Highly recommended ! This is a fantastic cottage and has everything you would need for your stay and more. The owners were extremely helpful when asked a favour of them re our stay, which was appreciated. The welcome pack was also beyond anything previously encountered at other cottages visited, with bread, eggs and bacon plus several other items. We visited the local village pub for food and this was excellent too and great value for money. Yes it is a slight inconvenience, not being able to park outside the cottage but the village carpark is no more than 100m away, so not so bad. Thanks Kim for your...
